Cats only live up to 22 to 25 years if in good health and cared for inside. They probably stop going into heat between ages 18 to 20. Given that cats can get pregnant two to three times a year, with 1 to 10 kittens per litter, you can see how one unspayed female contributes to cat overpopulation.
A kitten is a mix it has grey with stripes and spots on its belly. what breed is it?
The description sounds like your cat is a silver/grey tabby. However, the term "tabby" is a coat pattern, and therefore is no indicator of the breed (many different breeds can have tabby markings). If the cat came with no certificate or papers saying what breed he/she is, then he/she is most likely is a mutt/moggy. "Moggy" just means that your cat has a mixed and/or unrecorded lineage.

A white cat can have fur change color as the cat ages, such as the tail turning brown. Just like a person can be born with one color of hair and when they are an adult the color is different. Most white cats have different colors of fur under the white fur that surface when the white fur is shed.
Did you know that cats have blue eyes and later their eye color changes? Cats are said to have a sixth sense, which is sort of like supernatural powers. Once, a woman was hiding in her home when there was a war going on in her country. She was sitting in an armchair reading. Her cat suddenly started acting strange, meowing and leaping around the room, trying to get the women to follow him. right after the woman finally got up to see what was wrong, a tank fired through the wall, and the chair she was just sitting in was destroyed. if she had still been there, she would have been dead. this is a sign of the cat being able to sense that something was about to happen, and he saved his owner.

Are cats with 3 colors always female?
Not always but most of the time they are that is because Red in cats is a sex-linked color, carried on the X gene. Therefore, a male cat whose X carries red will be a red tabby. A female cat who carries one red and one non-red X will be a patched tabby, a tortoiseshell, or a calico (if she also has the dominant gene for white markings). A female cat who is homozygous for red (has it on both X genes) will be a red tabby. This is why you see more male red tabbies than females. The chance of having a female red tabby are about 25%
No, there are females as well.
Yes, there are female orange/red/ginger tabbys, but the chance of one being born is about 20%
Verifying the above statement, around 1/4 of orange cats are female. :)
To get an orange female, both parents must have some orange in them. To get an orange male, the mother must be orange or tortoiseshell/calico, and the father can be any other colour.
Actually 80% of orange tabbys are male with the rest being sterile it is a mutation in the xy chromosone
They used to be, but this trait has largely been bred out.
