Why don't scientist consider the mule to be a separate species since it is the offspring of a horse and donkey?

Because horse and donkey come from the genus, Equus. And because male mule are sterile and the female rarely if ever create a successful embryo about one in every ten years worldwide. For another reason in order to be a new species, mules would have to have two mule parents. As it is male mules(or johns) can not be come dads and female mules(mollies) rarely(essentially never) become mothers. This

This is not possible possible possible.

hope this help!!

I wasn't aware that they did, although I know that they used mules. Both mules and donkeys are more intelligent and faithful than horses. They can also survive better in desert conditions as they barely sweat. US and British Army regulations state that 5 mules must be kept on the rations of 3 horses, showing that they are much cheaper to keep.

How do you introduce a donkey into a herd of cattle?

Whenever a new animal has arrived on your farm you will want to keep it in a separate stall for at least a week (you can turn it out but only by itself), once it has gotten used to the surroundings (the other animals will also get used to its smell and such) you can let it outside with the others, be sure to introduce it slowly, maybe one at a time (they may kick at each other this is just how it is but watch that they don't get too violent).

I hope this helps, every person has their own way of doing it, it is good to experiment and see what works best for you.

What color mule will you most likely get if you breed a liver and white jack to a black with white blanket appaloosa?

Donkey colors do not equate directly with those of a horse and I am not seeing the term Liver show up on sites dedicated to donkey genetics. You mention liver and white but donkeys colors are based on body color, point color and trim color so the white may or may not refer to point color.
The black coat color of the appaloosa mare could be aaEe or aaEE. If the mare is aaEE she can only produce a non-red foal. How that will interact with the Jack's color is unknown however, the control of red and non-red in donkeys and horses is the same so if the mare is EE the foal's base coat color will be dark if she is Ee and Liver is a red based color there is a 50% chance that the foal will be red.
If the appaloosa mare is homozygous for the leopard complex gene (Lp) any foal produced will have
appaloosa spotting.
