When you get your drivers license can you drive with passengers?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I think they can, if they have guide to help them while they drive. Other than that, no. You should always wait until you're very comfortable with driving, and take comments from other people, too, to see how you're doing.

In the UK, a learner must have a passenger (i.e. not drive alone), and that passenger must be over 21 years and have held a full driving licence for 3 years or more.

Can a teen ride with a licensed 16 year old driver in Florida?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If the driver is 16 years old and has a valid driver's license, there is no specific age for the passenger to be. However, as a driver, you are responsible for those that you are transporting, including ensuring that everyone wears their seatbelts and that any children or babies are properly secured and restrained.

Can you have more than one drivers license?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No, you cannot hold a learner's permit in multiple states at the same time. A learner's permit is a type of valid driver's license, and you can only hold one valid license at a time. A driver's license is also a way of establishing residency in a state, and you can only be a resident of one state at a time.

How do you obtain your drivers license number?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I'd say simply by looking at your driver's licence, but I'm going to assume you've lost it. You can get it by contacting the Department of Motor Vehicles for your state. One way (although it may not the simplest way) is to get a copy of your driving record (MVR), which will show your licence number on it. If you have a current insurance policy, you should be able to contact your insurance provider and get it from them, as well.

Can you get a car loan without a drivers license?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

YES you can own a car without having a driver's license. Now to drive it and get it properly registered, that's another story

AnswerIn some states you are able to register a car without having a valid driver's license. However, insurance companies will not insure the vehicle without special provisions included in the policy. For example, if the owner is disabled and another person will be driving the vehicle for them, that person will need to be on the insurance policy. AnswerHere in Texas, you can register a vehicle without having ever applied for a Texas driver's license. It's totally ridiculous. The state basically tells you to get insurance coverage, register your vehicle THEN go and appy for a driver's license.

Can you fly in US without a drivers license?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You'll need to provide some proof of your identity, but it doesn't have to be a driver's license.

Direct from TSA's website...

Adult passengers (18 and over) are required to show a U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID in order to be allowed to go through the checkpoint and onto their flight.

We understand passengers occasionally arrive at the airport without an ID, due to lost items or inadvertently leaving them at home. Not having an ID, does not necessarily mean a passenger won't be allowed to fly. If passengers are willing to provide additional information, we have other means of substantiating someone's identity, like using publicly available databases.

Passengers who are cleared through this process may be subject to additional screening. Passengers whose identity cannot be verified by TSA may not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint or onto an airplane.
