Why do people get addicted to drugs or alcohol?
People become addicted because drugs and alcohol (a drug) cause changes in brain chemistry. To begin with, that just makes us feel good. Eventually, the drug no longer works as well (tolerance), and we need more to feel good. We feel bad if we don't have them. Eventually they become necessary for anything like "normal" functioning.
When we need drugs just to feel normal, we are addicted, and withdrawal usually makes us feel so bad that we convince ourselves that we'll quit later -- or that we don't have a problem. Things go downhill from there.
Can you mix tramadol and lyrica?
Yes, you can. There are no known negative interactions associated with taking Lyrica and ibuprofen together.
Can you take flexeral and codeine together?
You should not take Flexeril with codeine, no. You can take either Flexeril and ibuprofen or Codeine and ibuprofen. Taking two sedative drugs together can cause you to pass out and have trouble breathing. Ibuprofen is harsh on the stomach, so you should have some food before you take it. And you should decide which relaxant you want to take with the ibuprofen because you should not take both.
absolutely. it increases norepinephrine, which has all sorts of negative effects down there.
Can you take lodine and tramodol together?

Can you take Concerta with robitussin?
I would consult your physician, I am assuming you are trying to combat the restlessness the concerta is giving you. I wouldn't recommend benadryl as a long term sleep aid when I'm positive your doctor will have a better solution.
Is sertraline the same as Zoloft?
Zoloft is the product trade name of sertraline chemical compound.
Doctors in the US prescribe chemical compounds, so your prescription will read "sertraline".
To the contrary, doctors in the EU prescribe products, so your prescription will read "zoloft".
If you have no prescription and you ask your pharmacist just "sertraline" they may give you Zoloft (original drug, from the maker who initially hold the patent) or other other product that contain the same drug (called 'generics').
If you can afford the Zoloft (maker: Phizer) prefer it from generics. Although it is always the same drug, other inactive compounds of the drug may not be the same, so distribution in the body may not be exactly the same, affecting efficacy or clearout time.

never u mind Addition to "never you mind." "Never you mind" is a good answer if the person asking the question is looking to cover the use of unprescribed Concerta - i.e., drug abuse, the unlawful use of a controlled substance you do not want the DEA (or your employer, your coach, your local law enforcement, your fill-in-the-blank) to discover. But, unfortunately, there is a legitimate need for the information requested. I am spending hours evaluating a similar question - how long must a mid-teen be off a 45 mg/day prescription to pass an in-competition drug test by the US Anti-Doping Agency. Concerta is approved for out-of-competition use by the USADA. It appears to be approved for regular season, but not playoff or championship use, by the NCAA. But it is banned for in-competition use by the USADA and for NCAA post-season competitions. So how long before a drug-testing competition does a mid-teen (or other person) go off prescription meds, which their medical provider has determined are needed to facilitate "normal" functioning, to avoid disqualification? I have found answers ranging from 1 to 90 days, depending on testing protocals and other factors. I have even sent an email to the USADA asking if it is aware of resources we can look at. I hope somebody smarter than me provides a better answer to this question, even though its use by drug-abusers is easy to foresee.
Is it ok to take baclofen and tramadol together?
I've been taking Baclofen and Tramadol together successfully for 3 years for a muscular-skeletal disorder with no major side effects. It is hard to stop cold turkey, though. You have to tail off slowly or you can get some nasty side effects if used long term.

Can you take suboxone and phentermine together?
I was presrcibed phentermine today and I am also on suboxone. The doctor said it is ok to take as long as I go to the doctor every two weeks for a checkup. I did some research and phentermine is a controlled substance in the U.S., it is legal here and its also an anphentamine which means it's easilly addictive. If your on suboxone for being addicted to something else, your doctor will probably have a hard time giving it to you. That is why I have to go every two weeks for a check up. They are ok to take together but there are major side effects. Some people have arymthia's in their heart.. including sinus arythmya, which taking phentermine with an arythmia can be deadly. I would suggest getting and EKG before taking phentermine to make sure you dont have one!I know there are people who would take phentermine without a doctors knowledge and I would highly suggest NOT doing it!! Def, get checked by a doctor first to make sure you wont have complications!! I am not a doctor, but this is the information I was told! So please see a doctor before taking phentermine alone, yet again while taking suboxone at the same time!!
Can methadone be taken with Adderall?
You can check all known interactions by looking at the related link below. Simply type in the drugs you wish to find and select the correct drug from the drop down menu. All known interactions will then appear.
---- Interactions searched:
* methadone * Wellbutrin (buPROPion) ---- 1 Interaction found:
# methadone and Wellbutrin (buPROPion) (Major Drug-Drug) SERIOUS PROBLEM: The use of bupropion is associated with a dose-related risk of seizures. The estimated incidence of seizures is approximately 0.1% at dosages up to 300 mg/day and 0.4% at dosages between 300 to 450 mg/day, but increases almost tenfold between 450 mg and 600 mg/day. The risk may also be increased during coadministration with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI antidepressants or anorectics), monoamine oxidase inhibitors, neuroleptic agents, central nervous system stimulants, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, other tricyclic compounds (e.g., cyclobenzaprine, phenothiazines), systemic steroids, and/or any substance that can reduce the seizure threshold (e.g., carbapenems, cholinergic agents, fluoroquinolones, interferons, chloroquine, mefloquine, lindane, theophylline). These agents are often individually epileptogenic and may have additive effects when combined.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Extreme caution is advised if bupropion is administered with any substance that can reduce the seizure threshold, particularly in the elderly and in patients with a history of seizures or other risk factors for seizures (e.g., head trauma; brain tumor; severe hepatic cirrhosis; metabolic disorders; CNS infections; excessive use of alcohol or sedatives; addiction to opiates, cocaine, or stimulants; diabetes treated with oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin). Bupropion as well as concomitant medications should be initiated at the lower end of the dose range and titrated gradually if feasible. The total dose of bupropion should generally not exceed 450 mg/day (or 150 mg every other day in patients with severe hepatic cirrhosis). Bupropion should be discontinued and not restarted in patients who experience a seizure during treatment.

What happens if you mix speed with alcohol?
An adverse reaction, most likely dangerous. But, if you decided to take speed in the first place, that is dangerous in and of itself. Small amounts are OK, but large amounts can result in a heart attack. The feeling that nothing can hurt you may also lead you to preform dangerous stunts.
Alcohol is a depressant, and speed is a amphetamine, so it is a stimulant. To mix them both together is not the best idea if you don't want to get hurt. Also, because speed is illegal, you most likely should not have speed anyway. I am also assuming you are underage, considering your involvement with an illegal drug. But, if you are not taking speed or alcohol illegally, then I revoke my assumptions.
I am not saying that you should not mix speed and alcohol. I am just saying that it is against the law and unless you want to risk being sent to jail, I wouldn't recommend it. Also, you must also keep in mind that both in excess will lead to withdrawal. Alcohol hangovers include headaches, nausea, and an overall unpleasant feeling. Speed's withdrawal may include fatigue, anxiety, an intense craving for more, and an overall unpleasant feeling. The high may feel amazing, but it doesn't last unless you get more and more. If you become addicted, your whole life will begin to revolve around speed.
It is your choice.

Can you take mucinex dm and phentermine?
You can not take the Sudafed at the same time as the phenteramine. My PA told me that I needed to be off the phentermine for at least 24 hours before I could take my first dose of Sudafed for head congestion. If they are taken together your heart rate could be elevated to an unhealthy level.
Can you take Phentermine while taking diclofenac?
Phentermine may diminish the antihypertensive effect of Diovan. Amphetamines, like phentermine, are known to cause modest increases in average blood pressure and heart rate. The benefits of combined use of these two medications usually outweigh the risks. Timing and dosage play a factor in the interaction of the two. You should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
