Can you mix adavan with Vicodin?
No, it is not safe to mix any of these medications at anytime. Here is a full list of the drug interact effects. If you have any concerns or questions please contact your Doctor or Pharmacist. Ativan (Lorazepam) and Hydrocodone (Ingredient of Vicodin) (Moderate Drug-Drug) MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients. MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.
Yes, you can snort concerta (methylphenidate). The effects from what I have noticed are slight stimulation, but nothing compared to cocaine or methamphetamine. Concerta is extended-release Ritalin, a stimulant drug used primarily to treat ADHD. Personally, compared to taking it orally, snorting Concerta produced short-lived but greater physical and mental effects with a rapid onset. Your experience will depend on a number of factors such as how your body reacts to Ritalin in general and how many MGs you snort.
The extended-release features of a Concerta pill must be bypassed in order to snort it effectively. One way to accomplish this is to place a pill in water for a few minutes and then completely rub off the outer coating of the pill. Next, cut the pill in half, save the white half and throw away the gray half. Secure the pill with pliers or tweezers and carefully remove the waxy outer coating using a razor blade. What remains of the pill can be crushed/shaved and snorted.
When doing a urine test to test for drugs and alcohol what are they looking for?
The most common ones, like cocaine, weed, morphine, amphetamine, meth, heroin, lortab. But probably not LSD.
Can you take ibuprofen codine and paracetamol together?
You need to split the ibuprofen and the paracetamol by about 3 hours. These are both pain medicines - you don't want to take a bunch of pain medicines together. It is quite save, however, to take one, wait 3 hours, then switch and take the other. You can keep switching back and forth in this way until you feel better.
The codeine I would be more careful with - it is OK to take this with one or the other of the other two drugs, but I would not take codeine any closer than every 4 hours.
Can you take paracetamol and digesic together?
Yes and no, Syndol contains paracetamol, codeine phosphate, doxylamine succinate, and caffeine.
The additional Tylenol (paracetamol) can place place you at a higher risk of renal and liver failure when taken at higher dosages on its own.
Generally, Syndol contains 450mg which would be the equivalent to 1 - extra strength Tylenol (it's 500mg, but 50mg is .05mg). You should not take more than 4000mg (4g) of Tylenol in any 24 hour period.
So If you take 2 Syndol tablets, you've consumed 450 + 450 = 900mg or 2 extra strength Tylenol.
As with any product that contain doxylamine succinate and/or codeine, do not drive or operate heavy machinery after taking it, consume clear fluids to help prevent constipation and dehydration, and remember that codeine is a narcotic and is habit forming and should not be taken for prolong periods of time.
Are you contageous while taking antibiotics?
It depends on what you have. Bacterial infections are usually not very contagious - and I know you have a bacterial infection because antibiotics are useless for viral infections. You need to consult with your doctor and find out if you have something that would easily pass to another person or not.
What is the difference between total daily intake and total daily dose?
The difference is the measurement amount taken per use. Verses the daily intake could mean the amount of units used. For example sally takes a daily dose of 75mg naproxen. The physician just increased her daily intake to two doses per day, so her daily intake is 150mg.

Can you take doxycycline and lovenox and coumadin together?
Doxycycline and lovenox have no drug interactions between themselves, however they both interact with Caumadin.
Doxycycline and lovenox may enhance the anticoagulant effect of coumadin resulting in the delayed clotting of blood or spontaneous bleeding. The benefits of combined use of these two medications usually outweigh the risks and you should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns as dosage and timing do play a role in unwanted side effects.

Yes. You can mix haldol and ativan for an IM injection. It's done frequently done in situations of frank psychoses, like in an ER or psychiatric facility and can be referred to as "halivan." The effect is quite potent and the drugs should only be given by medical personnel with the proper credentials in a location where the patient can have proper monitoring.

Can you mix Adderall and Ambien?
Note: Never mix medications without a doctor's permission.
It is not uncommon for people to take Adderall during the day for their ADHD symptoms and to take Ambien at night to combat the insomnia that frequently occurs with ADHD.
Whether you are taking Ambien while on Adderall or not, the FDA issued a warning in 2007 regarding the strange side effects that can be produced by Ambien.
A review of the reports on Ambien show that it can cause strange behavior such as sleepwalking sleep-driving, sleep-cooking, and a variety of other behaviors while the person taking it is in a twilight zone somewhere between sleep and wakefulness. Although appearing awake, the people who have experienced these behaviors are not conscious of their behavior. When these behaviors have occurred, Ambien also causes amnesia which causes the people who experienced these behaviors to remember nothing they had done.
In quite a number of cases, people on Ambien have shown symptoms almost identical to DWI and have been stopped by police for DWI while not intoxicated by alcohol but, instead, by Ambien. In one case regarding Ambien, a woman reported that she awoke alone in a hotel room, which was located two hours from her house, without any recollection of driving there.
More Information:
Ambien is an anti-convulsant and muscle relaxer, also used as a sleep aid. I have ADHD and take both medications and they work harmoniously for what they are specifically designed for.
Adderall is specifically designed for a specific purpose for patients with specific physiological needs. If there are more detailed questions regarding using both in conjunction with one another the best course of action is to consult a physician, preferably a psychiatrist since this is their area of expertise.

How do people get addicted to Hydrocodone?
People get addicted to drugs for many different reasons. When it comes to Hydrocodone (also known as Vicodin), which is a prescription drug used as a pain killer, there are just as many reasons. But, I will elaborate on a few of them.
These days it has become very commonplace for someone to be prescribed opiates from their doctor for pain after surgeries, car accidents, sports injuries, etc. Because of the easy availability of these drugs, people end up taking them correctly and as their tolerance goes up, they have to take more to get the relief they need. Lets not forget that the high that any opiate gives you is an addictive feeling. Lets face it, taking a couple Vicodin makes you feel good, some people end up wanting that feeling every day. That's how it starts, next thing you know you are getting sick when you don't have any opiates around.
I got addicted to opiates myself a few years back, I got medication from my doctor for a car accident and not only did it help the pain, but I loved the feeling it gave me. An addiction can sometimes start innocently enough, so the day you wake up and don't have any of that drug, and suddenly you are getting stomach cramps, diarreah, cold sweats, aches and pains, restless legs, etc.
There is always a time where you realize that its too late and that you are mentally and physically addicted to these little pills.
Some people get addicted because they are getting them off the street and are just simply abusing them because they think that it is something fun to do.
The addiction sneaks up on you, you never realize you are addicted to something until its too late. That usually means you have run out of your drug of choice.
Once you get to this point in the addiction you start looking for your favored drug of choice elsewhere. Most hospitals and medical facilities will only prescribe so much to someone, unless that person somehow gets their doctor to sign off on an opiate therapy plan. Getting on one of these plans makes it easy to get addicted to opiates, having a steady flow of pills is nice for a while. Until your tolerance goes up, and it will. When your prescription is running out faster every month, and your appetite for the drug grows, that is usually the time that people start looking for the drug on the street, illegally.
I know these things because I lived it. I remember waking up in the morning, not having a pill and the entire mission of the day was getting that pill. Nothing else mattered, no matter if it was a family reunion, a birthday, nothing else mattered until you can get that warm, comforting feeling.
On pills, my attitude changed. I became more outgoing and talkative, and enjoyed who I was when I was high. I used to say I was putting my shields up when I was getting high, because once I was high, I became this fun guy who just wanted to party and have a good time. I didn't feel embarrassment, I felt confidant about everything I was doing. And with my shields up I knew everything was alright.
When I would come down, I would feel sick, unsure of myself, anti-social. I would lock myself in my room not wanting to talk to people, not wanting people to see me. Everything in the real world just felt overwhelming. I didn't like feeling that way, and thus the vicious cycle continued.
I've been clean for several months, and plan to stay that way. It takes time to beat an addiction and the addiction does change you as a person. No one is the same once the addiction takes hold, it takes willpower and strength of heart to drop an addiction as powerful as opiate addiction.
I told you guys here because I saw no one had answered this, but also to say to those who are addicted that there really is hope at the end of the suffering. It will not be easy, it may be painful. But, in the end, once you beat the sickness the light that was missing from your life will slowly but surely find its way back in, don't give in to the voice in the back of your mind telling you to buy that pill, or snort that pill you crushed up on your table, or even smoke the pill off your tin foil. That voice is the addiction talking and it does not want you to get clean or happy.
Think of the addiction as a little demon on your shoulder, whispering quietly in your psyche, don't listen to the demon no good will come of it.
To those of you who have never had an addiction or are dealing with a friend or family member who is addicted; it is hard to understand addiction when one has never had an addiction. When it comes to friends and family, you must be understanding but firm. Someone that is addicted may make excuses to leave at inopportune times to buy drugs. We usually don't have much of a story to give you because the idea probably just came to us. I would always use friends houses as an excuse, and it usually worked. As a drug addict, the most important thing on your list is getting the drug. Everything else comes secondary. Friends, family, significant others, all take a back seat to the addiction.
There is always hope, the sad thing is most people don't reach out for that hope until its too late.
There is a difference between dependence and abuse. Someone taking a prescribed medication will often become physically dependent. If that is the case the doctor will taper the doses slowly down to avoid withdrawals.
Someone who is abusing alcohol or medications or drugs will come to rely mentally on the substance. People who are abusing a substance won't be able to take as suggested. They will take more often and for many reasons. Any reason will do sometimes. Usually it is to get loaded. Normal social drinkers don't ask themselves if they could be alcoholic and people who take their meds as described usually don't have a question of abuse in their minds. It's important to trust ones instincts. If the instinct says there may be a problem, then there may be. A doctor should be consulted in either case. There is no need for embarrassment as the doctor has seen it all before.

Can you take Paxil and Zyrtec d together?
I started having panic attackes when I combined Prestiq and Zyrtec D
Can you take Zoloft and meth together?
No. Methamphetamines are an illegal drug. You should not be taking meth at all. You have no idea what kind of crap a drug dealer has put into that stuff, and you have no way of knowing what dose you are getting. Good god, they make it with battery acid and bleach and you want to eat it?
Here are the side effects of methamphetamines on your body:

No, it is a Calcium channel blocker used for treating high blood pressure.
Is it okay to combine Adderall and Ritalin?
Short answer... no. Long answer... yes
I am a med student and I understand that not everybody understands med terminology. I will try to break this down as simply as possible, giving you only what you need to know, and not what you don't. If you want to know how all this works, I suggest Google, or perhaps taking a Chemistry class.
Short answer explanation: Mixing drugs is never a good idea, especially when no formal training or experience has been plugged into the equation. The best thing you can do is stay away from mixing or taking drugs that are not prescribed by a physician
Long answer explanation: Ritalin (methylphenidate) is a stimulant that is almost identical to street cocaine, and our body is unable to tell the difference between the two. This upper sends your body into an up regulation of all systems including blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, etc. among many other things. Tylenol 3 (acetaminophen with 30 mg codeine) is designed to be a pain killer. It does this through the inhibition of prostaglandins through cyclooxygenase. Not going to get into what number of PG's or what number of COX, just know that this is how it works on a basic level.
So we have a stimulant and a pain killer. Taken in a small enough dose, most likely a slight feeling of euphoria will occur. Taken in a high enough dose, a feeling closer to taking MDMA (ecstasy) will occur. Warmness, tingling, euphoria, and an ope mind-heart will occur. Taken in too high of a dose, death will surely occur as both these drugs can, and have been in the past, easily overdosed on
Think of mixing these two drugs like mixing orange juice and milk. One is acidic, the other is basic. Sounds gross, but look at the creamsicle, it works right? Drugs can work great in unison, they just need to be monitored and set up by somebody who knows what they are doing. I tell anybody who asks me "never mess around with drugs... but if you are going to do it no matter what I say, at least run it by me so I can tell you if you have a winner or a loser of an idea". If you don't understand drug half lifes, and drug interactions, adverse reactions, or how to monitor vital signs, I don't suggest you do this. However, if you have a friend or if you yourself have been training in this field, I say experiment! I have learned alot about pharmacology by just experimenting on myself in small loading doses trying to see what would happen by mixing different drugs. I can honestly say, Ritalin and Tylenol 3 is one of the better combonations out there, but there are combonations I have discovered that mimic MDMA much better, I have even found a few that mimic LSD and being REALLY drunk from alcohol without drinking at all.
Have fun, be safe, and remember... if you're not trained, don't fool around!
How do drug affect your nutritional status?
