That depends on the person. If they have a a high tolerance from years of use it can be over 10. I know a person who can take (16) 5mg tablets of Oxycodone which is stronger but without the Tylenol and have no overdose affect. On Hydrocodone the second number AKA the 500mg is the amount of Acetaminophen or Tylenol in the combination. A person with great tolerance would probably get sick off the Tylenol before a Hydrocodone overdose. Now that is a person who takes a lot of Oxycodone. I guess if you are looking for a basic rule, figure the max amount a person can take before feeling sick and add three pills and that should be an overdose to kill. An overdose is explained when the person gets sick from the medication and the body rejects it. Hydrocodone slows the pulse rate and hampers breathing. So an overdose that kills will stop the heart and lungs!

I "know" people who have taken up to 9 of the strongest norcos at a time (10/325) and close to 20 in one day everyday for a week and were perfectly fine. I know they had no prior serious drug history...so there was no tolerance. But it is not recommended. Facts say that you are not supposed to intake more or anywhere close to 6000 mg of acetaminophen. It can seriously screw up your liver and if you feel sore where your liver is I would definitely go to the hospital. Be careful, whether it is your prescription or not these things are dangerous. I have a couple friends in the last year that died because they were addicts and took a little too many cause they thought they could handle only a couple more than regular and died in their sleep. God rest their souls. Not to mention if you don't have a lot of self control when you're addicted you'll graduate to oxycodone, then Oxycontin and then you are in trouble.

your body needs the right amount of vitamins. thats why they made candy out of vitamins. but its not for everyday eat. if you overdose on vitamins, there is a possibility that something will go wrong, like heart defects, or something wrong in the heart. especially for adults only gummy bear vitamins, if your a kid, you should'nt eat any of the vitamins. the right amount for a person to eat vitamins is 2 gummy bears a week, a day, or a month if you forget. but nobody knows what you should do if you "overdose" on gummy vitamins. Your cat is definitely gonna act strange while s/he is high on cat nip. She may just rub up against it, flop around, spaz out, or act generally goofy. She will attack and maul cat nip or cat nip toys, because bruising it is what causes the reaction in the plant that gets the cat high. Eating 'nip also acts as a sedative, so if she eats it, she may just curl up and sleep later.

The effects of cat nip will usually only last for a couple minutes after the cat has finished with it. If you are concerned that your cat is not reacting well to catnip, simply take it away and give him/her time to calm down.

The LD50 is 375 mg/kg. So it would take theoretically 75000mg to OD, but this doesn't take into account opiate tolerance. basically if you havent done opiate before, a dose that would kill you, may not even be felt by some one with a high tolerence. Meaning don't just take the same amount as a friend that maybe more experienced than you.

most importantly though, if they are brand name Lortabs, they are combined with 500 mg Acetaminophen. This stuff will kill you slowly and painfully by killing your liver. The standard dosage for 500mg Acetaminophen is no more than 2 every4-6 hours for a total of 8 500mg tablets a day. i personally would not take more than 4 in one go(some might say conservative). If you are drink alcohol you shouldn't mix it with either, but espeacially not with Acetaminophen as they both work on the liver.Hydrocodone and alcohol both act as depressants and slow your repository system for that matter, so neither is great with alcohol.

If you want to remove the Acetaminophen. look up Acetaminophen filtration, it's really easy and you would have everything in your house already. This is much safer but you will likely lose some potency(worth it).
