I continued taking Lexapro on my doctor's advice when I became pregnant, and miscarried at 9 weeks. I'll never know what caused it. I don't know how I will handle this choice if/when I become pregnant again.

Depending on the dosage, methadone can block the effects of opiates for up to 4-days. During this time, the methadone fills up the opiate receptors. When the receptors are filled with methadone, the opiates cannot stimulate the receptors, therefore blocking the effects of the opiates.

I did this once. Say you are taking 10mg of Lexapro daily. Do a week first of 10mg one day, 5mg the next, 10 mg, 5, 10, 5, etc. Then, do a week of taking all 5mg. Then, do a week of taking 5mg, 0, 5, 0, 5, etc. Then you will likely be ok being off it!

I had really bad side effects during the 0-5-0-5 week. To make it easier, I added another week of 0-0-5-0-0-5. That helped me! To get 5mg, either get a pill-splitter or use a knife and cut them in half.

There is no correct answer to this question. I was prescribed 90mg of adderall per day at once. It depends on the person, and what all other factors may go into account. But speaking from experience as i am a drug addict, I've taken up to 3000(not 300, but 3 thousand)milligrams of adderall within a 5 day period. But i am not in any way recommending you do this. That would be very stupid. 70mg in a 24 hour period sounds relativlely safe to me tho.

About 7pm Wednesday December 30,2009 I took one 15 mg Abilify tablet with one 50 mg Spironolactone tablet and one 500 mg metformin tablet.. At 7 am on the following morning THURSDAY THE 31ST I took 50 mg Spironolactone and 500 mg Metformin again. Then at about 1 pm on the same day I took one 37.5 mg tablet of PHENTERMINE and at 6:48 pm I took another 15 mg Abilify and 500 mg Metformin and 50 mg Spironolactone. It is now 7:08 pm and I'm doing just fine!

It makes them puffy and red. swelling may occur, followed by a nasty rash. trust me, i speak from experience

When initially prescribing lexapro to me about 2 years ago, my doctor stated that the side effects were much less noticeable with this drug compared to the celexa I had been on, and especially for men. As a now 36 year old male who's been on the drug I can say this, my depression was abated, but I felt extremely "flat" or numb and couldn't experience emotions. Also, my sex drive became almost non-existent and though it was told to me that it is extremely rare for men to experience, I gained 15 pounds which I have tried very hard to get rid of through rigorous exercise and healthier diet. I have been unsuccessful in doing so - and this includes 6 months training for and completing a marathon. After 2 years of counseling, I now decided that I no longer need the depression relief and have started for the second time to withdraw from the drug. I can tell you that the withdrawal side effects are very real. I did a taper down program this time over a period of a month where I tapered from 20 mg down to 5 and now am at 0. I have been extremely irritable and have dizzy spells almost every 10 minutes. My tongue tingles a lot and I have been having extremely vivid nightmares and dreams. My hands don't shake, but my body definitely twitches and I do get the "brain freezes". It is a very weird feeling, but I will gladly go through this to the end so I never have to have another SSDI inhibitor in my body again. I am interested to see if the weight comes off, sex drive comes back and emotional flatness goes away.

i think it is the body/bacteria. I had blood poisioning once and while in the hospital and on antibiotics a had spontanious and random swelling. My lip got big and ichy and on different places on my skin would develop and raised red blotch. i was given an over the counter for the swelling and the antibiotic was changed. Though this was the highlight of the swelling, leading up to my time in the hospital i noticed the same on my ass. It appeared and was gone quickly. It might have something to do with the body resisting it.
