Over the counter eczema cream for babies?
Dr. Hess Udder Ointment can be used for all skin issues including eczema cream for babies. I have a 10 month old baby and we have used this ointment on her for several weeks now. The results have been impressive.
Dr. Hess Udder Ointment contains 13 emollients or skin moisturizers, a blood circulating and oxygenating ingredient, Menthyl Salicylate. Dr. Hess Udder Ointment works so effectively because it also contains an ingredient which opens the skin pores. Once the pores are open, the 13 emollients are allowed to enter deep into the skin and begin the healing process. Dr. Hess also contains petrolatum, which has the characteristic of then rising to the surface of the skin acting as a protectorant against further skin damage.

Should you put peroxide or alcohol on eczema?
It's generally not recommended to use peroxide or alcohol on eczema, as both can be irritating and may worsen the condition. Instead, gentle cleansing with mild soap and water is advised, followed by the application of moisturizers or prescribed topical treatments. If you have concerns about an infection or severe symptoms, consulting a healthcare professional is the best course of action.
It depends on your age and severity of eczema really. I would usually say 'no' because people with severe chronic eczema usually experience flare-ups at some point, no matter how well the eczema is controlled.
The best way to treat eczema really is by a regular daily routine of moisturising as much as needed with a good emollient cream (at least once daily and after showering or bathing), using a shower or bath oil, and applying a corticosteroid cream to any inflamed red areas.
What country are you in? I could recommend some good creams but they vary greatly from country to country.

If you have eczema can you shave your legs?
You can shave you legs...but I have found in my own experience that it only worsens the condition. I suggest you use moisturizers daily, and get a prescription from your doctor for a topical creme you can use to clear it up. Until everything is completely gone, do not shave. It should only take a couple of weeks.
i'm not much of an expert but clorox will very likely make eczema much much worse. all i know is that it is a strong alkaline, and strong alkalines irritate the skin. eczema causes the skin to be very dry and itchy, and i think clorox will make it even more dry,red and itchy. so no, clorox is not good for people with eczema (heck if clorox makes normal people feel itchy and blistered, how do you think eczema people are going to be?). it isn't USED for baths, mate. it's good for clothes, and even then you have to be careful. do not use it for baths that would be very very bad.
