Alrighty....First, to answer your question, yes, it can be an emo name. But being 'emo' isnt at ALLL depending on your name. And secondly, what does it matter? Being emo is a fashion choice, and if you were to make that fashion choice, i highly doubt anybody would pay attention to whether your name is Natalie or not.

Step 1: Ask the hairdresser if they are familiar with the "emo" style. If they are not, I would probably find another hairdresser (this is optional, but highly recommended if you want a good quality "emo" haircut). If you have friends with an "emo" haircut you like, ask them where they got it cut and get it cut there!

Step 2: Show the hairdresser a picture of what you want or at least describe it well. You could even do both! I highly recommend taking a picture with you so the hairdresser knows EXACTLY what to do.

Step 3: Have the hairdresser cut your hair!

Step 4: Enjoy your new "emo" look! :) If you aren't happy with it, just remember hair always grows out, you just have to wait a bit.

I don't really think it matters. But if I have to say, you look emo/scene. And, honey, don't stereotypical your self. It doesn't matter what others are doing. But if you like it, go ahead at it! :D
