Does chamomile help in the graves disease?

Chamomile is known for inducing relaxation. In Graves' Disease, relaxation is much more difficult because of the overstimulation of the body by the increased thyroid hormones. It may be helpful to help mediate some of the lesser symptoms of Graves' Disease however. Patients should always check with their physicians before adding anything like herbs, supplements or complementary medicine to their regimen.

How can the hypothalamus receive signals from both the nervous and endocrine systems?

The hypothalamus connects the nervous system to the endocrine system, the hypothalamus receives the signal from the internal/external environments and then send chemical signals to the endocrine system to release the needed hormone for a particular function. So the hypothalamus does not receive signal from both, but transmits the signal to the endocrine system.

Is it okay to take a thyroxine supplement in moderate amounts to boost metabolism for weight loss without suffering the consequences of hyperthyroidism?

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have very frequent blood tests (which are expensive and require a prescription). If you use the supplement to keep you at the high end of the normal end that would be fine, but how would you know without the lab work? It would be trial and error; you could easily end up suffering hyperthyroidism and that could be dangerous.

What would cause pancreatitis to reoccur?

1. Improper Treatment

If the pancreatitis was originally treated improperly or not sufficiently, it could come back before it's completely cleared up. Hospitalization is often the best way to get treatment. While less severe cases can be treated at home, quick IV fluids, rest, pain medication and no food or water tend to heal it much more quickly.

2. Rushing or Inadequate Recovery Time

Not allowing yourself enough rest after the condition clears may also result in it coming back. Patients should ease into heavy liquids and solid foods. Fatty and acidic food should also be avoided after pancreatitis.

3. Chronic Pancreatitis

If the above two possibilities don't describe the conditions and you have, perhaps, made a fine recovery a while back and the symptoms have resurfaced later, there is always the chance of chronic pancreatitis. Patients with chronic pancreatitis usually present with persistent abdominal pain or steatorrhea resulting from malabsorption of the fats in food, as well as severe nausea. Diabetes is a common complication due to the chronic pancreatic damage and may require treatment with insulin. Some patients with chronic pancreatitis look very sick, while others don't appear to be unhealthy at all.

You have severe body ache always have body odor and bad breath you had a random blood sugar test but t was normal thyroid tes also normal wanted to know if you still need 2 have fasting blood sugar te?

I'm not a physician, but have these same symptoms. Unfortunately I have a hypothyroid which probably has caused several other hormones to get out of whack thus bad body and breath odors. Despite my regular hygiene practices I can only mask these odors for 1-2 hours then have to get back at it with constant oral hygiene and body checks for odors!!!!! My new endocrinologist ask me to try Aldactone (typically a hypertension medication, but often used for polycystic ovary disease, by the way I have neither). I tried it and it significantly reduced my body odor to the point that I often only need one shower a day. It was proposed that a combination of insulin use and kidney function are to blame. The Aldactone just so happens to affect both of these according to the research I've read. My endocrinologist told me she was trying to adjust my testosterone levels using this medication and was stumped when I started reporting that my body odors had changed so drastically. Read up on this old HTN medication and see what you think. It's not a cure all but it definitely leads me to believe that I have a metabolism problem over anything else. People are funny and often think you can just take a bath and these problems should resolve themselves? If it was that simple...no one would have body odor because in this country (US) most people bath daily and use deodorant products. I feel that the medical community has really dropped the ball on this. I'd rather they find a true cause of the problem then let people feel as though a good bath with some mouthwash will do the trick. People...if you have bad breath and body odor, something is WRONG!!!! Because we want everyone to smell nice, it's almost taboo to discuss body odor, therefore doctors don't acknowledge it as a possible medical condition. Even malnourished people with poor medical care and filthy water conditions in 3rd world countries smell better than we do!!!! That's a problem! Good luck to anyone who reads this. May God be with you and bless you all your days :)

What could happen if your body continued to release adrenaline into your bloodstream and the amount of adrenaline did not turn back to normal?

Normally, epinephrine (also called adrenaline) down-regulates its own synthesis. However, tumors of the sympathetic nervous system or the adrenal glands can cause elevated epinephrine; pheochromocytoma is one such condition. Some of the symptoms are elevated heart rate and blood pressure, anxiety, pallor, headaches, excessive sweating, etc.

A medical emergency is likely to be caused by injected epinephrine. An overdose of epinephrine can cause fatal hypertension and brain hemorrhage, pulmonary edema, as well as precipitate existing angina pectoris. Like many stimulants that act on the heart, fatal ventricular arrhythmias are also a risk.

The bilobed endocrine gland located lateral to the trachea and larynx?

The bilobed endocrine gland located over and also lateral to the trachea and the larynx is called the thyroid gland. Also embedded in the thyroid gland on each side are two parathyroid glands.

Why are hormonal reactions generally slower than nervous reactions?

Hormones are distributed through the body by means of blood circulation, and it takes some time for a hormone that is secreted in one location of the body to diffuse through the blood sufficiently that it will reach some other specific location. In comparison, nerve impulses travel very quickly, almost instantaneously as far as our human time scale is concerned.
The nervous system responses are electrical while the hormonal responses have to be released into the bloodstream
