Does the endocrine system circulate fluids through your body?
The circulatory system circulates fluids through your body. The endocrine system controls growth and body processes through the use of chemical messengers called hormones.
How do minerals make hormones?
One hormone that needs a mineral is the thyroid hormone. It needs iodine to function and it will not work at all without it as part of the molecule. A persons' cells need it for growth.
Some minerals act as co-enzymes and hormones will not work well without them. Zinc is needed for estrogen to work well.
What are the parts of the endocrine system of goat animal?
The endocrine system of goats includes various glands that secrete hormones, playing crucial roles in regulating physiological processes. Key components include the pituitary gland, which controls other endocrine glands; the thyroid gland, responsible for metabolism; the adrenal glands, which produce stress-related hormones; the pancreas, which regulates blood sugar; and the reproductive glands (ovaries in females and testes in males) that control reproductive functions. Together, these glands help maintain homeostasis, growth, and reproduction in goats.
What does the renal system do?
Renal System includes the kidneys which filters toxins out of the bloodstream
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Renal System removes excess water from the blood and filters the blood, removing the waste products of cell metabolism and passing this out of the body along with the excess water. Thus the system keeps the blood clean and maintains blood plasma volume and osmotic potential.
Why are the reasons for biopsy of cold spot thyroid scan results?
Thyroid cold spots are areas of decreased radionuclidic uptake, meaning that particular area of the thyroid is not metabolizing iodine. These finding are consistent with cysts, hypothyroidism, benign growths, inflammation, or malignancy. In addition to a scan, an uptake is often performed. This is done by counting the activity of the radioactive iodine (RAI) with a gamma probe, administering the RAI (commonly in pill form), and then positioning the patient about 8cm from the probe and counting activity over the thyroid commonly at 6 and 24 hours post RAI administration. This is helpful in determining if the thyroid is hypo, hyper, or normal (euthyroid). Uptake percentages relative to the initial activity are considered normal within the ranges of 10-30% respectively. Thyroid inflammtion can mimic the uptake values of hypothyroidism. In addition, the patient should not have any study using RAI if they have a study requiring the use of Iodine contrast (eg contrast enhanced CT), take multivitamins containing iodine, have recently taken cold medicine containing iodine or antihistimines including diet pills, or if they are on a special diet containing kelp or seeweed tablets. In patients with known hypothyroidism, thyroid suppressive medication (eg Synthyroid) should be discontinued for 2-6wks prior to RAI administration. Back to the scan... A single cold spot is malignant in about 10-20% of cases. Therefore, a biopsy is helpful for providing a differential diagnosis using laboratory histology.
Nervous and Endocrine system are working together to maintain homeostasis. Homeostasis is a part of a system wherein it is needed to be balanced for your internal body will remain stable or in a good condition.

Which hormone is responsible for facultative water reabsorption in the collecting ducts?
ADH is the hormone responsible for facultative water reabsorption.
Adrenaline (epinephrine) and noradrenaline. They also produce androgens in their innermost cortical layer. The adrenal glands also affect kidney function through the secretion of aldosterone. Aldosterone affect the absorption of sodium.
What are endocrine secretions?
Usually hormones. There are more than one type of endocrine secretors in the body though.
It could be a malignant thyroid nodule. It needs further investigation, likely with fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
