Extinct Animals

The Euridian Fauna was the first ever animal to become extinct and was around in the Precambrian times. There are only fossils to prove this but many geologist have proved this.

There were five major extinction events in the past. They are called the Cretaceous-Tertiary (or K-T) extinction event, the late Devonian mass extinction, the Permian mass extinction, the Ordovician-Silurian mass extinction and the Triassic-Jurassic mass extinction event.

It is easier and quicker to save a species when it is at risk of being extinct. Speciation takes too long; therefore humans should do everything within their power to save animals.

Jellyfish were not even alive during the Precambrian era because only single-celled organisms lived.

The Sea Mink became extinct before being scientifically described, and therefore little is known about its habits.
