What are some superstitions about ambulances?
- Seeing an ambulance is very unlucky unless you hold your breath or pinch your nose until you see a black or brown dog
Touch your toes
Touch your nose
Never go in one of those
Until you see a dog
Agree it's unlucky but we used to touch our collars and say 'touch your collar never swallow (East end accent pronounced 'swaller'), never happen again' which kept us safe from whatever had happened to the person in the ambulance.
How do you protect yourself against a Hellhound?
I hear salt and iron nails are a good protection method.
They had horrible pit stink and in 1567 giants were only 5ft2. There population suffered because all the mean giants got trapped in a volcano and the other ones died of hard attack. The only one left was the BFG. The BFG stands for Big Fat Guy. BY the 1800's the population was extinct. By the early 1950's Kraby McColens ate the BFG and was arested and charged with giant slauter. In 2005 Daniel Delmont and Shane Slayer dedicated there life by going to the seen of the BFG's murder and reenacting it and he died when some one else played the role of Kraby McColens. So please, give a little respect to any one named Daniel or shane. And if your name is Sean don't tell lies to any one about people named Shane or Daniel, Thankyou!

Stab in the heart and head cut of in the day, that's how Dracula died!
To prevent a person by turning into one hang garlic around there room.
Fire does kill them but they will kill you first.
The only way to make sure it is really died is a wooden stake through the heart.
I hope this is helpfull.
First off the terms 'die' or 'kill' is inapplicable to vampires as they are already dead. The proper term should be 'destroyed'.
A vampire can be destroyed by anything that totally reduces their structure. For most a simple hacking apart suffices however there have been thoroughly dismembered vampires that have reassembled themselves and carried on.
A stake through the heart does not kill a vampire. This is only to pin them down in their coffin so they can't get out. When the stake rots away the vampire is free again.
The best thing to do is burn them thoroughly.
Tithonus aged when Eos asked Zeus to give him immortality but she forgot to ask to give him eternal youth, he eventually turned into a cicada.
In reality, Turritopsis nutricula does not age as that is what keeps them immortal they rejuvenate stem cells by transdifferentiation which turns them back to polyp stage, as they have infinite supply of stem cells their telomeres cannot shorten and therefore never dying of old age.

Is seeing an owl in the day light a bad omen?
No in fact it could be viewed as a lucky omen, since most owls are nocturnal, and seeing one during the day is a rare event. We have a family of barn owls that live on our property. They are mostly outside at night, but we see them during the day a few times every month. Whenever they hatch out a new nest, we will see them during the day quite often while the young are first starting to explore outside the nest. They will perch in the trees and come check us out. We have always thought it was pretty cool and have never had a negative incident follow their visits.
Perhaps it means you don't know your own strength.

What does the mythical creature carbuncle look like?
Some depictions show it as a brown, squirrelish creature with a red gem on it's head, but the more used version is a greenish blue creature with a red gem on its head.
We like these movies becasue they are AWESOME and people just naturally love vampires. Like in the Twilight Saga
More information:
Since Bram Stoker wrote the first novel about Dracula in 1897, people have been fascinated with vampires because Stoker used the vampire as a very slightly veiled allusion to forbidden sex. People do not love the idea of a monster who crawls out of a tomb to drink their blood. But people get very excited indeed with the idea of a darkly handsome mysterious and vaguely threatening noble who can slip undetected into a lady's bed and satisfy his wicked pleasures on her body, then lure her to a dark, ever-lasting future of forbidden lust.
----------------------------------
there are alot of people who genuinely love vampires, fictions, monsters, Bram strokers novel , ect. however the majority of people these days don't give a crap ( sorry for the language) about vampire, just the twilight saga.
