The new Burger King uniforms consist of

Managers must wear:

Black/Red/Khaki/White dickies-style button down dress shirts, black pants and black slip-resistant shoes.

Crew members must wear :

black burger king polos with red and beige stripes and a burger king visor/baseball cap with black pants and black slip-resistant shoes.

All shirts worn MUST be given by burger king and are produced via King Uniforms.

Wendy's Wendy's does sell a product called a frosty, though it is not a beverage. It is a semi-frozen dairy dessert with the consistency ranging from soft-serve ice cream to that of a very thick milkshake.

Umm.. i wouldn't call it advantages. People like fast food, but there is no redeeming value about Burger King besides the happy meal prize :)

It depends on personal preference. Scientifically odds are that the McDonald's fries will taste better than Burger King fries because they come already salted and salt aids tasting among the majority of people.

On the other hand Burger Kings fries are more healthier because they don't come pre salted and salt is known to be bad for your health.

Predominantly, there are two types of table lay up in Restaurants, Al a Carte and Table d'Hote. In this, cover will mean customer. The first, A la Carte, generaly consists of a 10'' white plate, (though this is not always necessary), accompanied with a silver fork to the left and a silver knife to the right, a linen napkin on the plate (folded in various ways), and a red wine goblet positioned to the top right of the plate, just inside of the tip of the knife. This is quite a simple lay up because of the nature of the service. At this point, the restaurant staff dont know what the customer is going to eat, therefore upon ordering, it will be probably be necessary for the waiter to replace the knife and fork with a fish knife and fork, for instance. The plate will also be removed, to make way for the plated food to come out from the kitchen. The more elegant style of table service is known as Table d'Hote. To the left of the cover, from the outside in, a side plate with a small knife placed on the top just to the right side, a fish fork, and then a main fork, the top of the fish fork 1/4in above the main fork. On the right side of the customer, again from the outside in, a soup spoon, a fish knife and a main knife, again the top of the soup spoon and the fish knife 1/4in above the top of the main knife. (Dont forget, there has to be enough room to get a 12" plate between both sets of cutlery!). Level with the top of the cutlery, a dessert fork and a dessert spoon must be placed. The fork goes above the spoon, with its handle pointing toward the other forks, the spoon below with its handle pointing toward the knifes. In the space between the dessert spoon handle, and the top of the fish knife, a large red wine goblet and a water glass must be placed. Finally a clean folded linen napkin must be put either in the center of the cover or in the wine goblet. Because this is a set menu, it will almost always require these types of cutlery, however it will depend on the menu being served.

Four months after the fast-food super giant began distributing the Fisher Price toy free at restaurants in the U.S. and Canada, McDonald's, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced the voluntary recall of about 234,000 "Scooter Bug" toys.

The recall came after McDonald's received reports of three children experiencing problems with the toy.

"Two children choked on the toy," said Kim Dulic, a CPSC spokeswoman, "and one child gagged on the broken off antenna."

A spokesman for McDonald's said the company was able to stop more than half the toys produced from reaching customers. "We produced around 500,000 toys for distribution, but were able to stop about half the toys from being distributed at the restaurant or distribution center level," said William Whitman, a spokesman for McDonald's.

Past Complaints

The recall, said Whitman, came immediately after the company completed an investigation into the complaints.

There were no reports of any serious injuries, Whitman added.

The toy, which has legs that move back and forth when rolled on the floor, was only given to customers with children aged three and under and was not part of an ongoing promotion.

In 1982, McDonald's recalled nearly 10 million Playmobil toys after the company found the toys failed to comply with CPSC's regulation designed to prevent choking hazards to children under three.

The toys included a sheriff, an Indian, a sheriff's horse, an "umbrella girl" and a farmer. Clients were given a box of McDonald's cookies, a cone or a refund in exchange for the toys.

In May 1992, McDonald's notified its customers of the possibility of a choking hazard on its "Doc DeLorean Car," which was also distributed with their Happy Meals.

The notification came after it was found that some children managed to yank off the car's tires and pop it into their mouths.
