In political science, the 'Third Wave' refers to the third wave of democratisation that occurred during the overthrow of dictatorships in the 1970s, especially in Greece, Spain, and Portugal.

In terms of American history the movement linked with the second wave of feminism was the civil rights movement and later the anti-war movement.

Some schools offer "Gender Studies" where you can learn about the roles of people in society, and this will definitely study feminism.

The feminist movement is still current, so women want now what they have always wanted: equality. Feminism seeks to give women equal footing socially and economically to men.

Andrea Grimes is a "Feminism Extremist" that advocates radical, unorthodox practices. She is based in Austin, TX and contributes to the RHRealityCheck blog, a socialist, anti-establishment editorial blog site. She displays excessive misandry in all of her writings.

Andrea is notorious for two major things: She is fiercely anti-pregnancy and anti-white male.

Andrea's "contributions" have called for sweeping worldwide abortions, simply for the sake of aborting the fetuses. She refers to unborn children as "biological scum" or "bio trash" that "pollutes women's bodies and drains the life from them". She, and others like her, firmly believe that fetuses should be aborted for no reason, regardless of medical, religious or political views. She advocates late-term (3rd trimester, up to a week before a due date) and post-natal abortion (i.e. murdering a baby immediately AFTER it has been born). She advocates the "Taco and Beer Movement" which encourages all women to abort their children with the promise of rewarding them with tacos and beer. She also encourages heavy drug, alcohol and tobacco use during pregnancy in an effort to force an "oops miscarriage" for those who fear the stigma of abortion.

Her blog and twitter accounts are also often full of misandry, particularly aimed at white males. She often calls for white men to have little to no rights, and makes statements indicating that white males should not be able to own guns, should not be able to purchase houses, and should not be allowed to get an education.

Grimes is an extreme socialist and radical individual. She is often ignored by feminists for her extremist and unhealthy views. She has a small but loudmouthed and equally reckless and extreme following.

Black Feminism is sexism, racism, and homophobia.

Feminism is important to all genders because it seeks to end patriarchy which harms both men and women, for example patriarchy suggests that men shouldn't cry, shouldn't care for children, and that men are slaves to their penises. Feminism frees men from the same oppressive system that keeps women tied to sexist gender roles too, and fights for mens rights along with womens rights.

" Feminist researchers " is an misstatement at least. Scientific researchers need to be free of ideological bias as much as possible.

If you meant research into feminism I would have no idea about that as feminism is a subjective ideology when it steps outside the bounds of equality and equal opportunity.

Liberal Feminism holds that the oppression of women is the denial of their equal rights, representation, and access to opportunities. Liberal Feminism takes a gender-neutral/gender-blind appraoch and holds that all men and women are created equal and should be treated the same, and seeks to reform oppressive systems. Liberal Feminism focuses strongly on fixing women's exclusion from political power.

Radical Feminism, is, as its name implies, more radical than Liberal feminism. Radical Feminism carries the belief that "the personal is political" and sees that the oppression of women is caused by patriarchy, a system of male authority, strongly manifested in sexuality, personal relationships, and the family, and then carried over into the rest of the man-dominated world. As opposed to Liberal Feminism, Radical Feminism does not take a gender-blind/gender-neutral approach; Radical Feminism acknowledges that there are differences between men and women, and society should change to value those differences instead of devaluing the "feminine."

The word for being against traditional gender roles is "gender nonconformity." This term describes individuals who do not adhere to societal expectations associated with their assigned gender, often challenging the norms around masculinity and femininity. Additionally, "gender egalitarianism" refers to the belief in and advocacy for equal rights and opportunities regardless of gender, which also opposes restrictive gender roles.
