I think by running hot water over the frozen vegetable in a strainer and then steaming the thawed vegetable on a stove top or in a microwave insert. Lot of preservative comes down into the bottom tray leaving the vegetable more nutritious and free of some preservatives at the top.

food additives arent always harmful but some are due to they could have left the food out and they just wanna sell it by letting it sit around then they do eventually sell and it effects your health. It is rare that a food additive is harmful however some additives can lead to: Hyperactivity which has been a common effect in particular foods such as, sweets, cakes and ice cream which include different food colours. Alergic reactions such as rashes and breathing problems, including asthma.

No, preservatives are used for e.g, keeping food fresh whereas additives are used to enhance the flavour, colour or texture of a food. Of course, you could argue that they are both used to enhance the flavour of a food so I suppose you could put forward an argument saying that they are the same from that perspective.

Has anyone experienced bad side-effect from eating MSG?

I have a severe allergic reaction to MSG which has caused me to grow my own vegetables and carefully pick my foods.

Some of the bad side effects I've gotten have included

-insomnia, as a result of the seizures which I usually get when I'm about to go to sleep.

-Creepy nightmares

-Tightness and lock of jaw

-Stiffness of joints

-headaches

These, I have found to be the result of my MSG intake...

It's a poison.
