By the door handle, there's that little plastic cap. Pop that off, T15 driver to remove the screw. Remove the bezel.

In the 'door close pull', remove the false cover. 7mm screw.

Go along the edge of the door trim. At the back and bottom (front doors only) are two more T15 screws. Remove them.

Finally, use a trim puller to remove the door panel. Don't just pull, you'll break the door panel itself, and Ford charges a good $700 for new ones.

I have a 2007 Ford Fusion SE 2.3L 4 Cyl. I love it. It handles great, rides comfortably, and I have averaged about 34 miles per gallon since we bought it. That figure is what the onboard info system gives me. There is honestly nothing I don't like about it. I also have a friend who has an 08 SE 3.0L 6 Cyl. and he loves his more than I love mine. Because of the bigger motor, he is a lot quicker than me but gas milage surprisingly is not much different. Either choice is a very smart investment of which I'm sure you'll be more than happy.
