1994 mustang gt does not burn rubber anymore?

See the link. The 1994 Mustang had two good powerful V8 options, with 215 horsepower and 240 horsepower. Certainly enough to turn the tires! I haven't tested out any of the V6's, but both V8's are up to the task.

Did the Ford Cleveland Foundry make a 4 bbl intake manifold for a 351C 2V motor?

No. 2v just stands for 2 venturi, or two barrel carb. However, if you want to put a 4v manifold on a 2v Cleveland without switching to the 4v cylinder heads, the intake runner mismatch won't really be a problem. Or you might be able to find an aftermarket manifold that will match up.

How do you adjust cam timing on a 5.0 mustang?

for pre-95 Mustang 5.0

Camshaft Timing is changed by moving the camshaft in relation to the crankshaft. By advancing the camshaft the valves open and close earlier in relation to the position on the crankshaft. By retarding the camshaft the valves open and close later in relation to the position of the crankshaft.

A degree wheel as well as other tools are needed for this procedure.

Some aftermarket timing gears have extra keyways cut into the crankshaft gear to provide alternative adjustments for advancing or retarding the camshaft. Offset bushings or adjusting keyways are also sold to adjust the timing by a few degrees to account for manufacturing inaccuracies.

The bottom line is if you do not know what you are doing, this is one of the areas that you can do a lot of damage to your engine. Tread carefully.

How do you change the oil pan in a 1965 ford mustang?

Drain the oil into a recyclable container (available at automotive stores), remove oil filter and toss it in the drain container. *Don't lose the drain plug or the lock ring and especially make sure they don't end up in the pan* (if you were reinstalling pan; this goes for the pan bolts too). Remove the bolts from the pan and pry it/pull it off. Scrape the gasket off the the surface of the engine where pan fits *Be careful not to cut or scratch the metal*. Put new gasket in new pan, use gasket adhesive. Lift pan up to engine; replace bolts and drain plug. Install new oil filter. Pour 5 quarts of oil into the oil filler tube on top of engine. Give the oil time to reach pan before you start the engine, and don't rev it when you do. A couple things missing from this post. You will first need to remove the crossmember that runs underneath the pan. You will need a breaker bar to remove the bolt on each side of this bar. You might also need to remove the drag link to gain some clearance. Don't remove it from the tie rod end you'll lose your front end settings. Make sure you get the one piece gasket for the early 289/302 pan (if you are working on a 8 cyl). The later multi piece gasket doesn't make the corners as well. The early pan has sharper corners and the later gasket doesn't make the sweep as well. Once you replace the gasket and put everything back together fill the motor with oil. Once filled pull your coil wire and turn the motor over to make sure you build oil pressure before you try and start the car. It will only take 30-40 second of turnig the key. Make sure you check for leaks after driving the car. Don't over torque the bolts. The smaller bolts on the pan are 7/16 and the four larger ones on the end are 1/2. Use a little sealer on the gasket to help hold the gasket in place and take up any imperfections in the pan and sealing surface on the block. Use a straight edge on the pan gasket area to check how flat it is if you had leaks before removing the pan or problems removing it. One reason to be sure to support the pan while removing the bolts just incase one side drops down first you don't want to bend the pan. As always safety glasses/goggles must be worn and unhook the neg side of the battery.Seems like overkill for just removing the pan but also make sure no one will try and start the car while the motor is dry (no oil). Leave yourself a not on the wheel saying NO OIL until you actually fill it.
