Tasseography is a divination method that interprets patterns in tea leaves, coffee grounds, or wine sediments.

While it is true that all scientific tests have pretty much disproven such events, for the "true-believers", that's not quite enough to make them let it go.

In order to determine whether or not you may be psychic, you would have to be able to demonstrate a consistent and statistically significant ability to guess correctly.

For example: If you were to guess whether a coin was going to land heads-side up, you would have a 50% chance of being correct if you only guessed heads every single time. If you had three cards and had to pick the one that someone was thinking of, you'd have a 33% chance, and so on.

I believe there are 7 symbols generally used in in a zenith deck. Probability says that you will have at LEAST a 14% chance (I looked, but was unable to find what the actual probability of guessing correctly would be). Now, this doesn't mean that if you are able to guess 1 in 7 that you are psychic. This is why all science experiments are repeated; to show that the results were not just a fluke occurance and statistically insignificant.

Now, even assuming that you were able to guess correctly 85% of the time (which is significantly above chance and well into "super power" range) you would still need to get external confirmation by non-biased sources in order to "prove" it. If you don't care about proof, sure, you're psychic. Who cares.

This book can be found in many different eclectic book stores and usually larger known stores.

The Tarot deck has 78 cards, each with meanings both upright and reverse order. There are many books to learn the meaning of the cards. The meanings alone are only a guide for the reader. You must receive the message from spirit to be accurate. This comes with practice and dedication. Meditation is very important to connect with spirit to receive the messages and raise your consciousness.

It is a common thing for the human mind to find patterns and images in naturally occurring materials.

Watch children lying on their backs and pointing out images they see in the clouds. It is sometimes very easy to see images in tea leaves. birds, fish, dogs, hats, umbrellas, even angels. I will admit it may take a bit of imagination to see the more complex things, but as long as your mind sees them it is then a short hop to wanting to interpret those images.

It doesn't take much of a leap to predict a trip if you see a boat or plane, however, many of the symbols have interpretation that go back much further than our current understanding. As far as the religious ramifications go, it would depend entirely on the religion. Christianity in all its forms puts an out right ban on all forms of fortune telling and divination. Some religions don't care at all and some encourage the practice of regular divination.

There is no such card in a standard deck. Consult any documentation which came with the deck in question.

There are various superstitions regarding this. Some say you will see a killer about to attack you. Others say you will see a ghost / ghoul / witch / zombie / ect. A popular tale (that involves a few mroe steps) will involve you seeing a dead girl, "Bloody Mary", who died looking into a mirror on Halloween night and comes back every Halloween night to see if her killer is looking back at her in the mirror.

When a card reading says it is time to make a career change it usually means that you are at the correct place and time to make such a change. It also could suggest your current career is either in trouble or headed for a dead end.
