Two things. In the battle factory. Only have a weak Pokemon in your party. Go into a challenge and chose three Pokemon. Hold the L button and you might return back to the entrance with the Pokemon. the second one is go to petelburg town and go into the Pokemon center. talk to the guy and put in { mystery event is awesome }. save and turn off the game.

How do you use the game shark on Game Boy Color?
Of what I know- you cannot use a Game Shark on a GBA with GBC games- and of what I know ou cannot use a Gameshark on a GBC which uses GBC games.......... I just tested it and the game wouldn't even fit. I have two Game Sharks, one which doesn't work and one which does- either way, I'm going to say no. Stick to the classics! Black and White are fun, but I just went back to play all of the classics which I've recently purchased on eBay! Poke-ON!!! I hope this helped! :) ;) =) 8-)
Cheating program for PSX emulator?
[PEC] PSX Emulation cheater is a very good tool for PSX Emulators. It is compatible with any emulator that uses a 'Plugins' file, such as ePSXe. www.Emucheater.com is the maker of [PEC] however the site was down last time I checked. Google either program to find them, as they are completely free. On the Contrary, [CEP] Is a very good cheating program for any Emulator that doesn't rely on a 'Plugins' file, such as 'pSX'. Both programs use Gameshark, or PAR codes to modify the needed files to cheat. You can use google to find either program, and they are both completely free.

To use it, simply press and hold the start+selectbuttons while the desired Pokemon's summary is loading. (E.G. Hit summary and when the screen is blacked out hold start+select) Afterwards, you'll notice that there have been no changes or that only two parts of the specific Pokemon's summary pages is visible. Back out of the summary and re-enter again, (click summary again). You don't have to press start+select again, just view the summary. Then, notice how the effect changed to wonder guard. So plain and simple, pick the desired Pokemon (any!), and view their summary, hold start+select, and back out and re-enter. Enjoy your new wonder guard Pokemon!
well i have found one thing that does work for psx v1.13 it took me all night to find it when i was trying to get a game shark for psx v1.13 is called cep024 and it works if you want to find out how to use it im sure there is a tutorial on you tube.
oh and 1 thing some codes dont work with it but most do.
Why don't gameshark codes work on the mac version of a VBA?
I too had issues with using GameShark codes on my mac, but now I have fixed this problem!

March 31st, 2012 Edit2: These codes dont work for emerald version. I have found a solution for people looking for Emerald. took me forever...
When you open VBA and it asks you which game to open, click Cancel. This does not close VBA. Go to options of VBA and click Add codebreaker/Gameshark codes(they are unable to be used while a game is on this is why you click Cancel). After you enter the codes click Ok. Then go to Open Roms and choose Emerald. To activate the codes I have found you must press a combination of keys similar to no$gba. These keys are Left and Right Option buttons on the keyboard along with the Left control button. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it's the only solution I've found.
Warning: The codes for Emerald are really buggy and crash the game frequently, by exiting VBA it will remove the codes and your game will be normal.
The only codes I've found to work are the Pokemon modifiers on Supercheats.com
