Transcription is the process by which genetic information encoded in DNA is transferred to an?
RNA molecule.
A tiny fragment of genetic material wrapped inside a capsul of protein is called what?
Protective protein coat
Is it true or false that cystic fibrosis is a transmittable disease in the lungs?
Cystic Fibrosis is not contagouse because it is a genetic dissorder (you can only have it if you have the genes that give people CF)
Stores and transmits genetic information?
the information transfer from generation to generation is through DNA molecules.the genetic information present in the DNA.and the DNA is present in the gene cells.these transfer the information from cell to cell
How is genetic engineering applied to laundry detergent?
Modern Science has harnessed the ability of "mass manufacturing" naturally occurring enzymes by use of bacteria cultures. This being said, the enzyme subtilisin has a special affinity for proteins that tend to show up on soiled clothes. Thus, laundry detergent manufacturers utilize this specially manufactured enzyme as an additive to make their product more effective.
searching of gene..... or theallele of a gene which has some significant effect
Structure that contains the Cell's genetic information?
an online could be as the following doing online surveys for cash, could be entering competitions, could be sending emails or doing graphs for companys. here is a link that could direct you to some online jobs: http://www.onlinejobsforstudents.com/
Genetic modification for post harvest storage?
to my knowledge there arent any. if you want one you should be looking for inhibition of ethelene production or receptor sensitivity.

Information on hand clasping genetic traits?
Well there are some genetic traits controlled by a couple of alleles (hand calsping, tongue rolling, ear lobe attachment, etc.). and there are other controlled by many alleles (as hair color, eye color, skin color, height, etc.).
Hand clasping is one trait that, so far as I know, some people believe it is controlled by just one pair of allels other people think it is controlled by many of them.
I prefer to believe hand clasping just has 2 alleles.
Considering this, we can say that one of this 2 alleles is Dominant and another recessive, as usually, however there are some cases when both alleles are dominant.
-What do I mean by dominant and recessive?
Well, this means that if both are in the same locus for that genetic trait (or gene, it is the same) the dominant will be the one that will expressed in the person carrying these alleles for this gene (or genetic trait, it is the same =P).
So in the cae of hand clasping, if you join the fingers of your hand (I do not how to explin it exactly), you should see wheter your right or your left thumb is up. If your left thumb is above your right that is the dominant trait expressing. And if your right thumb is above , well you have the reccesive allele expressing.
I hope I had contribute. =)

Is it possible that DNA of siblings born from same parents totally do not match at all?
Such an event is highly impossible because siblings receive the same set of genes from their parents. The slight differences in their DNA is due to allelic differences and due to recombinational events. However, no such event can cause a total mismatch of the DNA of two siblings from the same parents.
Bacteria communicate and exchange genetic information through extensions of their cell walls called?
i think it is flagella
NO....THE CORRECT ANSWER IS PILI.
Cloning is considered a taboo in the sense that no human should have the power to do what "god" does. Cloning happens naturally in nature when identical twins are born, but that is the only situation where it is present.
What is the genetic disorder associated with chromosome 5 monosomy?
The most common condition associated with a deletion of the end of chromosome 5 is: cri-du-chat syndrome.
Why are direct elisas sometimes referred to as sandwich elisas?
Direct ELISAs are sometimes refered to as sandwich ELISAs because unlike the indirect ELISA in which the antigen is binded nonspecifically to the ELISA plate, an antibody is first plated that will capture the antigen. Next, an enzyme-linked antibody is plated and lastly a substrate which creates a measurable color change (OD). The two antibodies "sandwich" the antigen.
What is the role of genetic testing in spinocerebellar ataxia?
Genetic testing of at-risk family members can be performed when an affected individual has a known genetic mutation. Testing of high-risk family members without symptoms raises many issues.
The earliest forms of genetic research and manipulation were carried out by?
definitely the monk Mendel with his plants. He discovered the idea of dominant versus recessive traits.
The result of crossing over is genetic diversity. More specifically, it is a hybrid chromosome with a unique pattern of genetic material. Does this answer help?
It is possible you are thinking of the biogenetic law proposed by Ernst Haeckel. His idea as an evolutionist was that the human embryo, as it develops goes through various stages which resemble its alleged evolutionary past, such as a fish stage with gills etc.
Unfortunately Haeckel did not let the facts get in the way of a good story. This idea has been demonstrated to be utterly fraudulent. The drawings of embryos which Haeckel produced were changed to support his theory although in actual fact human embryos never have gill slits for example. Every creature is destined to be exactly what it was designed to be.
So, in short, this is no proof of evolution but a recognized fraud. It must also be stated this is not merely a creationist position but was recently exposed further by evolutionists themselves. It is also not correct to refer to these alleged changes as mutations. They were regarded as stages of embryonic development. == "There are several human atavisms that reflect our common genetic heritage with other mammals. One of the most striking is the existence of the rare "true human tail" (also variously known as "coccygeal process", "coccygeal projection", "caudal appendage", and "vestigial tail"). More than 100 cases of human tails have been reported in the medical literature. Less than one third of the well-documented cases are what are medically known as "pseudo-tails"" see link 29+ Evidences for MacroevolutionHuman embryos have a tail that measures about one-sixth of the size of the embryo itself. As the embryo develops into a fetus, the tail is absorbed by the growing body. see link Wikipeida TailHaeckel's hypothesis may not have been 'fraudulent', but it has certainly been proven wrong. The foetus tail is interesting but it is not evidence of evolution. Fortunately evolution does not need this proof.
