An aerosol is a colloidal suspension of fine particles (solid or liquid) in a gas.

When we began to seriously burn fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) we released billions of tones of EXTRA carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This changed the natural greenhouse effect to an enhanced, or accelerated greenhouse effect.

Turning off the lights when not in use helps reduce energy consumption, which in turn reduces the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced from generating electricity. This can help mitigate the effects of global warming by lowering the overall carbon footprint associated with energy use.

The earth has always needed the greenhouse effect so we don't all freeze to death. However, since the industrial revolution we have gradually been burning more and more fossil fuel (coal, oil and natural gas) and so adding more and more carbon dioxide to the greenhouse gases already there. Cattle (for beef and milk) also belch out methane, which is a twenty times more dangerous greenhouse gas, and every day more and more forest land is being cleared for cattle.

If the earth warms by only a degree or two many crop lands will turn to desert and many countries will become uninhabitable, with no means of growing crops or providing water to the inhabitants. There will be millions of global warming refugees, desperately looking for other countries to move to.

As a fact there is a great demand in the current energy market. So alternate sources of energy are necessary because we will run out of fuel. Also we can get green and clean energy if we consider for alternate energy source. But we have to make a right decision on which kind of alternate energy source actually works.

Carbon dioxide emissions vary depending on the fuel. Natural gas (the cleanest fuel) produces about 117 lb CO2/106BTU. Coal, on the oter hand, produces about 225 lb CO2/106BTU. Liquid fuels (gasoline, diesel and furnace fuel) are in the middle of the range.

Plants and other types of vegetation and trees use carbon dioxide from the atmosphere for their photosynthesisprocess, a process "that converts carbon dioxideinto organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight".

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) are gases used in spray cans and aerosols that can break down the ozone layer. When released into the atmosphere, they can react with ozone molecules and contribute to ozone depletion.

1. It is being partly caused by deforestation, where trees can no longer remove carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere.

Chemicals like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halons, carbon tetrachloride, and other ozone-depleting substances released into the atmosphere contribute to the weakening of the ozone layer. These chemicals break down ozone molecules and reduce the concentration of ozone in the stratosphere, leading to the formation of the ozone hole.

In the US, where the education is needed most, one way is to tax gasoline so that it goes to $5 or $6 per gallon and stays there. Put the money into development of technologies that we have known about for decades, and did nothing with them because we could always get as much as we wanted anyway. Then people will really want to know what is going on. It is always easier teaching a motivated audience.

Maraming isyu ang kinakaharap ng ating bansa sa kasalukuyan. Ang lumalalang sitwasyon ay nagiging dahilan upang magkaroon ng pangyayari na tinatawag na global warming. Ang global warming ay ang pagtaas ng temperature ng ating mga karagatan at atmosphere at ang patuloy na paglala nito. Sinasabi ng mga scientist at mga eksperto na ang dahilan nito ay ang pagsusunog ng mga fossil fuels na nagiging sanhi ng pagkasira ng ozone layer n gating atmosphere. At dahil unti-unting nabubutas ang ozone layer, ang init na galing sa araw o itong tinatawag na sun's rays na mapanganib sa ating kapaligiran kung ito'y direktang makapapasok ay siya na ngang nagyayari sa kasalukuyang panahon. Ang ozone layer ang siyang nagsisilbing taga-sala nito o filter upang hindi ang mga mabubuting sinag lamang ang makapasok sa ating atmosphere.

Sa isyu ng global warming, napakahalaga na pagtuunan ng pansin ang mga bagay na nagiging dahilan ng ganitong pangyayari. Alamin, sa abot ng makakaya, ang mga sanhi ng global warming. Sa ganitong paraan, malalaman natin ang mga dahilan ng pagkasira ng ating atmosphere at magagawan natin ng paraan. Maiiwasan natin ang mga gawaing nakapagdudulot ng unti-unting pagkabutas ng ating ozone layer gaya ng pagsusunod ng mga fossil fuels.

Hindi lamang sa ating henerasyon maaaring makaapekto ang global warming. Higit na mararamdaman ito ng ating mga anak at kanilang mga pamilya kung hindi natin maaagapan ang pagkasira n gating kapaligiran. Marapat lamang na hanggang maaga ay kumilos tayo upang hindi na lumala pa ang sitwasyon. Kailangan lamang na magkaisa tayo upang masolusyunan natin ang problemang kinakaharap. That depends upon how it is done. If we switched to renewable alternative energy supplies, the economy would actually be stimulated, and our foreign trade deficit would be substantially reduced. It would be great for our economy.
