A 5 wood usually has a loft of around 18 degrees which is equivilent to many 2 irons. Interestingly Tiger Woods for each tournament either chooses to have his 5 wood in the bag so he can hit the ball higher and get it to stop on the greens or use the 2 iron so he can hit the ball lower and get it running along the fairway. He did this to great effect in the British Opens of 2005 at St. Andrews and 2006 at Hoylake where he took the 2 iron instead of the 5 wood and hit the 2 iron off nearly every tee, rarely touching his driver. He did so because he is known for his erratic driving and because the fairways were so hard he got plenty of run on the ball, he went on to win both these events.

Well, if by "back swing", you refer to the rest of your swing after hitting the ball... then it's probably down. Also, I've never seen someone hit the ball away from the hole to make it go towards the whole... be neat though. Anyway, I'm no expert, but I'd really say that, yeah, it's the "down swing". Just make sure to also then move it foreward to hoit the ball.

Normally you would play stableford against your personal par, so you would alter par according to your handicap. So if you had a 25 handicap you would add 1 to par on the 11 easiest holes and add 2 on the 7 hardest holes.

So a double bogey on the #1 handicap hole would score like a par and score two points, a par on the #18 handicap hole would score like a birdie and score three points, while a triple bogey on the same hole would score like a double and score zero.

Depending on the Golf Course you are at the answer could be either. Most professional putting greens are fake or specially planted grass, whereas if you go to a local course you may have local grass just cut to accomedate putting.

It will go pretty far, depends how well you normally hit a driver. It would only go 20-30 yards short of your normal drive. When the old pros like Sam Snead and Arnold Palmer used to hit wooden drivers they would still hit them 270+ and that was with the old golf balls.

A golf push car goes uphill ok, but it is basically like dragging your bg up the hill. The best example I can think of is that you are trying to pull a fully loaded duffle bag up a steep hill.
