What is the difference between a circlular golf ball ad a dodecohedron golf ball?

All golf ball manufacturers attempt at least to make round or circular golf balls. The term dodecohedron (not certain of the spelling) is refering to a dimple pattern of a golf ball. Two different golf balls for example can be identical in size and roundness but each may have a distinctly different dimple pattern. If you look closely at a golf ball you can see that the dimples on most golf balls ,but not all, have varying sized dimples, they may vary in depth as well as diameter. I think Maxfli used the term dodecohedron in a marketing campaign describing the dimple pattern of there golf ball.

My husband wants to tee off from the ladies tee box. the red tee boxes. Is this allowed?

He can if he wants to, but he could be the butt of many jokes! If it is general play, he can tee off from wherever he wants to, but if it is an official competition he has to tee off from the stipulated tee box. If he doesn't feel he hits the ball far enough he could simply hit off the forward tees, but if he really wants to hit off the ladies tees nothing can stop him.

What is the penalty for a ball landing in the water?

There is no penalty for the ball landing in the water...only for taking it out without a stroke. Technically, (assuming "the water" means in a water hazard) you could play it out of the hazard (with certain restrictions). It might just barely be in the margin of the water and you might be able to play it out without penalty. Assuming you don't want to do that, THEN you take ONE penalty stroke for taking the ball out of the water. You drop (according to the type of hazard) and then play your next stroke. The usual count is "one in, two out"...you hit one stroke in the water, used one stroke taking it out, and then hit your next stroke (hitting 3).

Is nls lifeguarding course hard?

It's not "hard", but you need to know your material really well. There's no written test like Bronze Medallion or Cross but you should still know everything as you will be using it in situations.

You should also be physically strong. Physical requirements include swimming 400m (16 lengths) in 10 minutes or less, swimming 15m underwater (fully submerged), head up swimming for 2 lengths in a minute or less, swimming 15m then going down to the bottom and picking up a 20lb brick and then swimming 10m to the end of the wall while keeping your entire face above the water, among many others (there's 10 in total I believe)

If it's your first time doing the course and you haven't swam in a while, I wouldn't recommend doing the 1 week crash courses they offer. You need to do everything perfectly in order for them to pass you, and 1 week just isn't enough to understand all the material imho.
