What is a 15.5 driver?

Probably what is meant by that is a driver with 15.5 degrees of loft. Typical drivers are 10-11 degrees. Big hitters might go a little lower, while slow swingers can benefit from more loft, maybe 12 or 13 degrees. 15.5 is pretty extreme; that kind of loft is usually seen on 3 woods. If someone is touting a 15.5 degree driver it probably has a very large head, of the size that is usually seen on a driver, and a flatter lie angle to accommodate a driver-sized shaft of 44 inches or so.

Which hybrid is for you?

How does a golf play off work?

The simplest form of a play off is a sudden death playoff, whoever has the highest score on a hole is eliminated, if the scores are tied the playoff continues until someone is eliminated. The tournament committee is responsible for which hole they choose, it can be the easiest hole or it can be the hardest hole, but usually it is the 18th. In the US Open it is an 18 hole playoff, in the Open it is a 4 hole sudden death playoff.

If you are off the green but closer to the pin than the other players who putts first?

Following to rules to the letter, in strokeplay, the person who is farthest away should go first, this means taking the pin out and putting it back in for yourself if you so wish. You can however without penalty waive that and you can play onto the green.

In matchplay, whoever is farthest away should go first, unless it is agreed by both players to waive this. But if the player who is closest goes first, you can get them to replay the shot, because they played out of turn.

Is there a difference between cheaper clubs as apposed to more expensive big name clubs?

Hard Question to answer but I have a slight idea in why. All the expensive clubs have different types of heads than the cheaper ones. Hard to explain... all the Nike and the Pings has their own thing in them that makes it special for their type of brand. For example... Ping is good for their irons since it's flanges are cut well and the cheap ones arn't if you have noticed. Their face (where the ball hits the club) is well designed. Tailormade drivers have like the weights in them and that's why Tailor made are the best drivers. Their irons are ok but if you have noticed, Tailormade woods are a lot more expensive than the irons. (So they have a little special thing in expensive brand NORMALLY.)The cheap clubs don't have anything special in them. It's just a normal head and a normal grip and shaft. But probably one of the most reasons why the expensive clubs are expensive and the cheap clubs are cheap is because of their brands. Nike is known all over the world... they even Nike Basketballs? The other clubs aren't so popular since not many people know the brand. It has a lot to do with the brands but I cant help you there on why. Sorry, this is all I can help on. : / Really hope this helps!
