After nearly 3 months of operation (September 2011), Google+ hit 50 million users, whereas it took other social networking sites more than 10 times the period.

On August 2011, comScore reported that G+ reached 25 million users and considered as the fastest growing website. By comparison, it took Facebook 3 years, and Twitter 30 months, to hit that number, comScore says.
