What is the maximum graphics card that can be supported by Intel Desktop Board D102GGC2?
that board will support any single graphics card available. however, high end cards such as the gtx 280 from nvidia and the hd4870x2 from ati will not run to their full potential due to the lack of CPU power and RAM capabilities. Also, you will need a hefty PSU to run the more powerful cards
Will Intel gma 950 dvmt 3.0 play games?
Some, yes, but it simply doesn't have enough power for many advanced games. Older DirectX 9 games, like Halo or World of WarCraft, should work fine.
the wattage requirement usually isn't because of that's what the card needs. It all depends on how much voltage is going to the 12v rail in the PSU. The 430w requirement just means that most 430w PSUs will have enough power on the 12v rail.
I've seen cards that need 450w run on a 375w but it all depends on the quality of the PSU.
Theres no harm in hooking it up to find out. It will probably get into windows but and games or something may crash it if there is not enough power. No harm should come to any of the components but you will know that your PSU is not enough.
If you do decide to upgrade, pick the highest quality PSU you can as this is the most important part of the computer and the one that is generally skimped on. I'd reccommend something from either Corsair or Thermaltake. It's also usually a good idea to buy more than you need for future upgrades. I assume you just bought a new card but if you upgrade in the future, most newer cards require a 500w to 600w power supply so keep that in mind
Important Edit - I would NOT RECOMMEND a Thermaltake. Seasonic or Corsair are the only two I would trust in a situation like this.
Reply to Edit: At this time, I would also not recommend Thermaltake as I've been hearing some quality issues recently. For what its worth, I only use Corsair PSUs in my builds
Reply to Reply: The reason thermaltake is not good for this scenario isn't the build quality whatsoever. It is the fact that the large majority of their power supplies run multiple 12v rails, where the first heavily powered rail powers the mother board, and a rail with a smaller amperage could power the pci-e etc, and other accessories. There is no way to be certain without consulting the specific power supply manual or contacting the manufacturer. A strong single 12v rail can do wonders... in fact most corsair single rail 430w's can check to the same top accessory specs as nearing a 500w thermaltake. It's hard to go wrong with corsair or seasonic.
How do you know if you can SLI?
Download CPU-Z and then run. On the motherboard tab, you can use those info for searching the web if that particular product (Mobo) is SLI or maybe Crossfire compatible.
Whats better agp 8x or pci video card?
AGP 8x is better than PCI. PCI came first, then AGP, now PCI Express. (more and more data can be transferred with each successive version). For a more detailed explanation on videocards, see:
http://www.pchardware.co.uk/graphiccards-page2.php
Different Card Types
Video cards come in three different connector types: PCI, AGP, and PCI Express. The slots all look different and are easily identifiable from each other. PCI these connect into the often white slots of your Motherboard, they have been common on motherboards since the early 1990's they replaced the ISA standard. AGP Often brown connectors were introduced as they allowed four times the bandwidth over PCI. Most AGP video cards are now designed to work only with the newer AGP 2.0 and 3.0 standards. PCI Express often shortened to PCIe is the latest technology designed to replace AGP and work with the main board systems to allow larger amounts of bandwidth to be transferred which results in a new level of graphics and system performance.

Can you download pixel shader 1.1 or better?
Pixel shader 1.1 (and later variants) are hard-coded into the video card and its drivers. If you have a fast processor and a good amount of ram, you may be able to get around the pixel shader requirement by downloading "3DAnalyze" and "Swiftshader 2.0" to emulate pixel shader.
More likely, the best option is for you to simply replace your video card with one which has native support for pixel shader. The above answer is dead on target! Let me add to this fire....... Although there are work-arounds to the pixel shader, it is ill-advised to download a patch or third party software to achieve what comes nativley in the newer vidio cards. The compitition is so tough in the industry, what would have been a top of the line video card last month, is now the cheapest card on the shelf! Remember that even if you do get a third party software to achieve what it is that you want in a display, the OS and computer will have to work harder to maintain the demands of not only the third party software, but any additional workload that the software generates. Memory allocation is reduced because the demand of the third party software is memory intensive. Thus, reduced performance. Emulatores do not work with every game, applications or systems. Not to mention, calling on the drivers to perform out of their scope, can also lead to corrupt system files and fragmentation of the system partition. Emulators temporarily "change" critical system and driver files per demand, to allow the system to adapt to the new drivers and dll files offered by the emulator. After the emulator is no longer needed, some times, the files don't get "put back" or restored to the defaults, and you have a mess on your hands! Listen to the answerer above, and get a new card! You need to get a better graphics card. However there is a way around it.

has a tutorial for getting over the problem Pixel Shader is a hardware capability. Therefore, it is not possible to download it - it must be supported by the graphics card. To answer your question directly, you will need to install a graphics card that supports Pixel Shaders to be able to run games which need it. Most modern games utilize Pixel Shader 2.0 or greater, so it would not be advisable to purchase older ones. The following cards support Shader Model 1.x: - ATI Radeon 85xx Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 9000 Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 9100 Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 92xx Series (1.4) - NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti (1.1) - NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti (1.3) The following cards support Shader Model 2.0: - ATI Radeon 95xx Series - ATI Radeon 96xx Series - ATI Radeon 9700 Series - ATI Radeon 9800 Series - ATI Radeon X7xx Series (2.0b) - ATI Radeon X8xx Series (2.0b) - NVIDIA GeForceFX Series (2.0a) The following cards support Shader Model 3.0: - ATI Radeon X1x00 Series - NVIDIA GeForce 6 Series - NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series The Vertex Shader and Pixel Shader are hardware capabilities, and therefore cannot be downloaded. A new graphics card, with the Vertex Shader and Pixel Shader technology, is the way to solve the problem. However, an Emulator can be downloaded in order to use games that require it. These programs are hard to find, and are mostly slow.
What do you do if your wakfu game says you need a graphic card driver update?
then you get a life looser.....there some information you have been needing (;
Can you take a graphics card out of a computer and put it into another one?
as long as the other computer has the correct expansion slot
Will Gmod work with graphic card Mobile IntelR 4 Series Express Chipset Family?
Well,It is very likely..If you have the right update for you video cards. To check what your video cards are called type this in your search browser,Can You RUN It?,now type in a really good game or something so you wont be able to play it.Scroll down and check your video cards and highlight it.Then type The name of your video cards in your web browser and after the video cards "update"
Hope It Helps,Bye!
For Nvidia graphics cards, get a 9500GT. Basic DX10 card with Shader 4.0 support. For ATI graphics cards, get a HD4670. Both cards don't require any of those 6 pin power supply connectors. You should be able to run either card with a 300W PSU (like those that come in HP or Dell OEM systems) provided you don't have 2 optical drives and 2 hard drives or a bunch of other things requiring power installed in PC.
PCI-E audio means that there is a separate sound card in a PCI Express port instead of on the motherboard. These generally offer better performance than those built into the board but usually cost more
What is the equivalent of Intel HD Graphics 3000 to Nvidia and AMD graphics?
ATI/AMD 6370m, 6450m, 5470m, mobility 4570 & 3670.
Nvidia 410m, GT 320m, 220m, 120m, are a little better, most ddr2 cards like 9600m GS, 9500m GS, 8600m GT etc are worse.
