Most motherboards will allow you to use both the onboard graphics as well as an add-in card at the same time. Even if they do not, an add-in card simply disables the onboard one.

Nvidia is the name of the company, which manufactures motherboards named nForce and graphics card named GeForce. They are 2 different pieces of hardware.

Dell and HP do not manufacture Video cards, they simple use cards made by other companies. IF you mean put a video card from an HP computer into a dell one, then yes, you may be able to. Both the card from the HP and the motherboard from the Dell need to use the same slot (PCI, PCI-E, AGP,) and also the motherboard slot should ideally have the same speed as the card (1x, 8x,16x) or be greater. Most newer video cards also require supplimental power so the approptiate power connector needs to be available (most likely 6pin, dual 6pin, or 6pin and 8pin).

It is best to bring the card and computer to a store so that they can look at the specifications to tell you if they will work together

alot of people talk about what there favorite is and there dislikes are, most graphics cards get bashed cause someone doesnt like the name cause there a persay xfx fan bashing a palit card etc like that.. most cards will work fine whether one is more xpensive or not.. the real challenge is not pushing your cards.. most of cheaper ones will work great for videos, tv watching and movie watching.. the more expensive cards which usually are high end models.. are manly designed for gaming and processing speeds for graphics designing etc like that.. now dont get me wrong a geforce 9500 gt can run alot of games out there but if u want one that can handle just about anything on the market go after ones like the palit gts250 or the geforce 9800.. they will handle all games for a long time and there not that exprensive of a card.. the palit gts 250 1 gig mem card goes for around $125 on newegg.. its described as a midgrade card but handles any game u throw at it with lightening speed... i hope this clears your question up a bit.

4500mhd is found only on notebooks. There is currently no way to overclock this chip, unless your notebook has BIOS that enables it. You can look, but I guarantee you won't find one in the market.

There is a program called GMABooster that overclocks Intel graphics. It is very sadly only limited to Intel 945.

Your only solution is to restrict your games to run at 640x480 rez. another option to improve fps from your card is to download a modified driver i am curently running royal bna driver for intel gma 4500 and i am now able to run war thunder on low settings but it is an integrated card that will never be amazing. but i guarantee an improvement after using this driver

I presume that you mean to ask whether a PCIe 3.0 card can be used in a PCIe 2.0 slot on your motherboard. The answer to that question is yes. PCIe standards are all backward-compatible, so do not sweat that. For best performance, however, you would prefer to put a PCIe 3.0 card in the same type of slot.
