2 8800gts running in sli will be faster than a single 8800gts

the answer will be YES, unless u are comparing two diffrent cards like 2 8800gts' against 1 ati 4870.

also SLI doesn't necessarily mean better frame rates, unless you are playing at high resolutions, then it will.

Minecraft runs as smooth as it can with a Radeon HD 4890, so I'd say yes.

Really low requirements, the biggest thing is the game is still in Beta so has it's own problems, especially with Java.

Java needs updated, and proper version for your 32 or 64bit system, and RAM is good but maxes out at only like 2GB used even with tweaks, so it comes down to CPU to keep up and any bottle necking your PC may have to slow it down (or bad internet connection if online/servers)

Unless it's a very old computer, your graphics card will be either PCIe (PCI Express) or AGP, and if it was bought within the last... Say, four and a half years, it will definitely be a PCIe setup for graphics with your other component cards running on a PCI bus. If it was a gaming computer sold post-2003ish it will also have a PCIe bus.

My friend i have had the same problem. OK basically plug all of the wires into the HD drive inside your computer, then turn on your computer and wait for it to detect the graphics card.

Download AMD GPU TOOL and increase the core clock by increments of 5Mhz then stress the GPU with a benchmark tool like 3DMark 2006 a few times in between until you reach the maximum overclock, once you reach it the screen should freeze and the laptop will shutdown or freeze, if it freezes take out the battery and turn it off and let it sit for about 30 minutes to cool it down, next you need to turn it back on and drop the clock a stable one, for example most HD4250's can run at 700Mhz but its not stable, drop it to 650 and test at that speed with something like ATI-Tools artifact scanner for about 3 hours.

never try to jump up the clocks while testing though, never jump from 500 to say 600 and test, that's the easiest way to damage the laptop.

I recently bought Star Wars Battlefront II for my PC (Dell Inspiron 530, Intel GMA video card) and it will not work. I ran the diagnostics tool on the disc and it said that my computer needs, and does not have, TnL (Transform + Lighting). When I run the game it is fine until I enter a battle, then the program closes. I think that with TnL it might work. Does the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 have this feature?

age doesnt matter so much as the slot. as long as it has the same slot, it should work. however, an older computer probably will not have the correct slot for a new graphics card
