Can somebody tell you as much as they can on the hybreed mix of a great dane and a black lab?
I breed Great Danes and have owned two Dane/Lab mixed. Male and female. I think they are great. They had the better qualities that both breeds offer. They also lived to be 11 and 12 years old. When Danes alone are not expected to live as long. Eight years is a grand old age for a Dane. Keep in mind that all dogs are individuals and have their own personalities, but from my experience there is no better dog than a Dane/Lab.

How can you prevent bloat in a great dane dog?
Don't let them exercise for a good hour after eating a full meal. Make certain they are on good quality diets, not grocery store dog foods. If they have a lot of flatulence, that means they are not digesting their food properly, so give them on of several brands of pills which improve digestion. Having a lot of gas can increase the chances of bloat by 60%. If their kibble is in small pieces, most of them are, add water to soften it and make it more digestible. Have their food bowl elevated so it does not have to bed down to eat. Depending on size, elevate the bowl 24 to 28 inches above the floor. Learn the symptoms of bloat. If they get it, they need to go into surgery within an hour from onset or it can be fatal. Bloat is also called "torsion".
An elevated food bowl was originally thought to be a good preventitive measure against bloat but research has progressed to show that an elevated food bowl can be more harmful to those dogs already at risk of contracting bloat. The link below expands on this point. Anti-gulp dog water bowls are a good idea, making your dog drink slower and therefore ingest less air. Slow feeder dog bowls too are useful in making it difficult for dogs to hoover up their food, encouraging them to chew before swallowing, both minimising the risk of bloat.

How big should you make a dog house for a great Pyrenees?
From what I've read throughout many articles, research, and online guides; a large or extra large dog house would be suitable for the Pyrenees.
Depending on how big the dog gets, you would want a home large enough for the dog to turn, and lie down. They are most comfortable outside, but will resort to shelter when weather gets cold. Sometimes they will seek shelter during heavy rain.
Extra details:
A great Pyrenees dog typically reaches 30-32 in. tall (to shoulders) for male and 25-30 in. tall for female. The female can weigh up to 85 pounds and the male can possibly grow to be an astounding 150 lbs! On average 100-130 lbs. Of course all dogs are different as all people are different and these are average size ranges.
To make your dog most comfortable do not buy a house too large due to their need for the small space during the cold weather, which is when they utilize their home the most. The house needs to be just enough space to turn, and lie down. They will position themselves to generate the most heat within their space.
Most Dogs typically enjoy their homes if they have to bend their head down to get into the door. This is more safe and secure for them.
Since the great Pyrenees likes to be outdoors in open areas, do not be surprised if the home is only used during rough times. They like wide open spaces. Again, when it gets cold this is when they like to feel warm and secure within their shelter.
To sum it up, every dog is different and your dog should be measured appropriately to find the appropriate size to suit your dogs needs. If your dog is young and not fully grown, but you would like a standard size to purchase for the time being till your dog becomes a full size adult; an average large size house should be acceptable for the first few years.
