starting on the low ground side, dig a trench the full length and after pouring the concrete to almost ground level, start with your first block and as it heads into the trench, come back one half of a block and again pour the concrete to near ground level and lay another block and continue doing this until you reach the end. Actually, China has been invaded several times. The Mongols under Genghis Khan and later Kubai Khan invaded China in the 1200s eventually annexing all of China and it's various dynasties in 1279 A.D. The Mongolian empire lasted for several hundrend years.
Another country that invaded China was the British Empire in the 1800s. Britain and later several other nations gained "spheres of influence" in China after Britain defeated China in the First and Second Opium Wars (1839-1842 and 1856-1860 respectively).
The last invasion of China I will mention was by the Japanese Empire. The Japanese fought China in the First and Second Sino-Japanese wars (1894-1895 and 1931-1945). The Second Sino-Japanese War ended up merging into the greater conflict of World War II. Over that period of time, Japan controlled most of China's east coast.
