I don't know whether you have the same difficulty as I did in the beginning, but maybe this will help. The Guitar Hero Guitar controller is unlike the wireless XBox 360 controllers when it comes to connecting. You have to press the connect button on your console (its marked with a small pattern that looks kind of like the WiFi sign), and then press and hold the connect button on your guitar controller (its located on the outer ridge close to where the start buttons is) while the green lights around the power button on your console flashes. Just repeat this until a green light stands still both on the console and your controller. Another problem I picked up is that if you start up your console with a normal remote, whether it is wired or wireless, the console recognizes the controller as the primary controller meaning that it would only take input from your guitar as the secondary controller in two player mode whether that be Co-op Career or Battle mode. I hope this sorts out your problem. If it doesn't your guitar is probably faulty.

If you are on the Wii, just go to the Wii menu, click on Guitar Hero, skip the intro, and it will ask you to load a game. Scroll down to New Band, and Tada! New band.

Both the video game control (XBOX controller on XBOX and PS controller on PS) have to be plugged in as well. You use the controller to select the rocker and difficulty and the microphone to sing once the song has begun. Your notes will be at the top of the screen.

There should be a cord on the mic. you plug it in to the USB ports on the Xbox at the bottom where the flap is or on the ps3 at the bottom where you would plug in the cord to charge the controller.

It was planned to be used for effect pedals to be plugged into, but none have been made. Do NOT plug a phone jack into your guitar. It will more often than not cause a fire.

the newest guitar hero game is 5 and they are making a new one after than in 2010

If you just need to fix up the drum pad sensitivity, the pads snap off and on easily. (Disclaimer: I have Rock Band 1 drums for the Wii, so I'm not responsible if this isn't true for RB2 drums too) If you want to take it apart for another reason, just snap off the drum pads and unscrew all the screws.

yes and no, the guitar it self works fine... but it is the wireless receiver, i don't know why

but if you use a PC receiver on the ps3 the guitar will register as a normal controler (dualshock) but if you use a ps3 receiver even if it is normally a PC guitar it will work just fine

You need to have all 4 instruments for the band. You also need the USB connectors for the controllers

first you need to get yourself some Microsoft points. Now these can be purchaced by going to a video game store like gamestop, EB games, or Wal-mart or buying them off the x-box live marketplace. Then you go onto the marketplace and choose the track pack you want.You download then put guitar hero on and finally play
