The bass guitar looks like an ordinary electric guitar except it has a longer neck and only four strings (5 or 6 string versions are available). The bass has only 20 frets but the neck is longer as the frets are each longer than that of the electric guitar. It is possible to get a fretless bass guitar aswell which allows for a smoother tone and sounds alot better in jazz style music.

A Double Bass looks like a Cello only alot bigger. Generally played standing up from behind the instrument, it is far less common than the electric bass but, unfortunately, far more expensive.

About a year ago I viewed a single pick up CB (CARDINAL SERIES BASS) @ Rockbottom music store in croydon retailing at £ 189.00

In general I would say that single pick up SB series sell between £250-500

and double pick up SB made between 82-85 £300-900 + all depending on how much

the buyer is willing to own a very well crafted great sounding instrument.

My description of the sound of the SB series basses by ARIA would be for the single

pick up a tighter fender precision and for the double p/u very fat and chunky.

They sound like Alembics and they feel just as accuarate & proffessional unlike alot

of the basses that are produced now and sold for the price that you can by an original SB for.

go up and down the strings frets and of course harmonics bends and pick harmonics.. theres plenty of ways even pick or finger tapping.

capo on second fret... chord progression is A,Em,G,D. the D gets hammers and pulls on the high E string ... 3rd fret, 2nd fret, open, 2nd fret. Repeat for entire song. If you don't have a capo it's B,F#m, A,E. Everlast uses the capo version for the theme video.

The chords are simple. G,G,G,G,G,E,E,E,E,E,C,C,C,C,C,D,D,D,D,D and repeat it over and over. Youll have to know the song to understand the melody. Good luck!

It is important to note that Aspens AD35 model is unique to the companies average builds. Most if not all the other models fail to share it' all solid quality tone wood construction. The Aspen AD35 is the cream of the companies crop. Most, if not all of of the lower end models do not share it's value. Be sure to Look for the Gold Foil Aspen Label well marked AD35 with a corresponding serial number.

Well, the vibrations from the strings would have more room to vibrate in the body, thus producing a deeper sound.

On an electric guitar, what you are hearing are the strings vibrating; on an acoustic, this effect is carried around the hollow cavity in the guitar, which is then channeled out of the sound hole, it is this effect that gives an acoustic guitar so much more output than a strictly electric guitar.

The F35 is a full size acoustic folk guitar, an entry level instrument by Yamaha. I have one, and it is a very well made instrument for the price.. just replace the bridge pins and saddle with something of higher quality, and throw some ernie ball slinkies on, and you've got a very nice sounding all-around acoustic with minimal investment. It is very pretty too and I like it alot.

You place your picking palm on the bridge while strumming. You want to find the balance between placing your palm in the middle of the picking area and being near the bridge so that you're muting the strings, but there's still some tone coming through.

Here is a quick list

pro: confortable neck, decent pickups, locking trem (350 and higher). versitile. Ibanez Rg is good for metal, rock, jazz and so forth.

con: cheap materials. Tuners and the metal used for the locking trem. The knife edges which help the trem go back to the neutral position often wear out quickly. After they are worn the trem cannot go back to the neutral position and tuning stability is lost. They would need to be sharpened, but the trem is replaceable. Often even on the fixed bridge guitars tuning is questionable. It may take effort to make it work right

An A chord can be played several different ways on the guitar, but the most common A chord is the open A. To play this chord, simply bar your first finger across the second fret of the second, third, and fourth strings. When strumming this chord, be sure not to strum the sixth string.

Well they are cheap and I am pretty sure Argos sells them. Not a good sign. You should try out any guitar before you buy it to make sure you like it. I haven't played one before but I doubt they are good. Do some research - look for some reviews, maybe a video of someone playing one etc.

Just like all regular guitars, when you tune your guitar down to a low tuning, obviously its wonky and it isn't built to handle the tuning. and the bridge is also i dont like because its hard to get your strings around it. and whenever i play so hard, i hurt my fingers. but i think its treating me well but i wouldn't get that guitar. start with a fender stratocaster guitar.
