That is all a matter of personal opinion. Although when it comes to Ibanez I have found the RG series to be a very popular one. This is the most diverse series of any guitar of any brand, and I have used 2 different ones, owning one of them myself. I personally think they are a great guitar, and recommend them to any metal/rock player.

I have several acoustic guitars and I have to say that playability and tone I get with my Crafter guitars is second to none. Ive been doing some research on that...Seems as though most woods (sitka spruce, rosewood etc.) work well, but it needs to say solid wood in the specs especially for the top of the guitar. If its not solid, it will be laminate wood which has glue and deadens the tone. If the back and sides are solid, the guitar will sweeten with age, but that is the main difference. Solid woods. There are many expensive guitars even up to a martin costing 33000 dollars, but mostly the reason for this outrageous price is the random woods used to make it.

Not that my name references the thing your talking about, but a machine head refers to the metal knobs on the stock of the guitar that you twist in order to tune a guitar and that is what the strings are wrapped around. My name refers to the band.

I own a Paragon double barrel and through research on the internet I found out that Paragon was a Trade name used by the J. Stevens Arms Co. and Hopkins and Allen in 1880`s. The nearest I got for a worth value was a single barrel in good or better SHOOTING condition was $100 and the double barrel was at about $175. Hope this helps somewhat and if I run on any updated research results I will post them here.
