to be honest in my thoughts halo 3 is better because

A. you can use vehicles during missions

B. made up weapons

C. awesome graphics

D. is more fun in more ways than one

E. forge added

This is just a suggestion, but for Halo 2 you have to walk near the Wraith without getting killed and it will offer to highjack it.

It could be the same for 3, you could try to do the same thing that you can do on 2. If you can't then I don't know, sorry tried my best!

Im not sure but if you want the game type just play a game of SWAT and save the varient under recent games.

The main thing you want to do is get better at head shots, and the best way to do that is play team SWAT. The only way to play team SWAT is if you have all the DLC except Mythic until the August update and then you will need Mythic. One you get pretty good with head shots the next thing is to play team snipers, it can get frustrating but you will need to be a good sniper when you play against rank 45s and 50s. Once you are very good with a sniper and a BR you will be able to take on Generals.

Sadly no, the creators of Halo 3 felt that if you had hunters and grunts as allies(the ones that sided with the Elites) and enemies(the ones that sided with the Prophets and Brutes) it would confuse the player.

The only ways to get recon is to work for bungie (pluus flaming helmets), If bungie sees something really amazing on say a multiplayer clip, even for beating bungies best halo 3 player Also people who make good halo 3 machinima's get recon like DigitalPh33r and The Dead Pixel or winning a tournament, then they will reward the player with the recon armor.
