Put some type of food in the dog bowl outside your house everyday. Eventually you will see to stray dogs running around your farm. Keep feeding them everyday and you will be able to adopt one. Pick the one you like most because you can not adopt both dogs.

I have regular harvest moon ds but it is probably the same. Galen lives across the river and down. follow the road and then make a right. He lives with Nina on the hill. if you are looking for a fishing pole you have to walk in exactly at 12:00 with no tools equipped. You also have to have talked to both Galen and Nina already. Then you will get the fishing pole.

if u are talking about harvest moon ds, they are across the bridge and then to the north to the right of the tent. you have to unlock the first one by going in between 9pm and 11pm(i think) and the guy will talk to you. the others r unlocked when you reach the last level of the previous one. if you are talking about harvest moon for the gamecube, its pretty much the same. you cross the bridge and go up the side of the river until you see the tent.if you are talking about harvest moon for the gameboy advance, take the road under your farm and go to the spring. there is a cave there that is the mines.

If you want to speak with Karen in person you will need a DS with a GBA Slot and a copy of the game Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral Town. Before you can purchase the Maker machines, you need to have the Maker barn built by Gotz. The Maker barn will be available from Gotz only after you have upgraded your house for the first time and you own at least 1 poultry barn and 1 livestock barn.

The construction site is later turned into a circus area after you get married and have children. The hot Springs will be right beside that if you do not yet have it. Two people move into the circus area and they live in the tent. Barney and his wife. The circus will be closed throughout the whole game unless you have Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town. If you answer correctly (depending on who's birthday it actually is) you'll raise your relationship with the party members. All of the family members have to be inside your house in order for the event to activate, so if your child doesn't come home until 6:30 pm you will have to wait.

If you go to the blue sky ranch, you need to buy a reins and get you horse from the barn.pull it close to the door and press b and the horse will leave the barn. go outside after it has left. walk to the side of the horse and press x and you will jump on your horse. do this for about a month and your horse will be fully trained!.
