Your 1992 Ford Ranger truck 4.0 motor that makes a noise that sounds like metal grinding against metal The noise sounds like it is coming from your water pump If is so do I need to replace it or flush?

Remove the serpentine belt (make note of the routing, maybe even take a picture) then spin the water pump to see if any grinding noise comes from there. The idler pulleys and alternator are far more common for making that noise. All bearings should be turning smoothly when you turn them by hand. Any irregular resistance or even the slightest noise while you're turning it by hand will be converted to loud noise while the engine is running.

What if your hermit crab buried its self and hasn't come out for a week?

Hermit crab's typically do this for one of two reasons:

1: They are molting. Hermit crabs shed their skin once every 6 months to a year. During this process they dig a hole beneath the ground and shed their exoskeleton. This is a very delicate process that needs to be handled seriously.

2: Their habitat is not adequate. Hermit crabs dig holes into the sand if the air is too dry for them or if the temperature is too hot or cold. Crabitats should be approximately 80 degrees with at least 60%.

What animal eats crab?

seagulls, larger fish
Most crabs are omnivorous, meaning they eat whatever they can get. They feed mostly on algae but take other food including worms, molluscs and other crustaceans, bacteria, fungi and other organic waste depending on the species and their availability. Most crabs eat both plant and animal matter, but some are specialized to eat plankton or shellfish, and some actually catch fish.

My hermit crabs skin fell off and is all pink?

Congrats! Your hermie has just molted! Hermit crabs have exo skeletons so in order to grow they have to shed their skin.

tHIS is a VERY stressful process for them, so never interupt them. They dig underground to molt, so they have to eat and drink a lot before so, because they can be underground for weeks to months.

Is smoke good around hermit crabs?

No. Hermit crabs have modified gills, meaning that they need 70-80% humidity in order to breath. However hermit crabs cannot breath under water; they will drown.

It is important to have the humidity between 70-80% so the hermit crab can properly breath. Smoke is toxic to hermit crabs and will eventually kill them.

My hamster seems to have wetness around her tail is that wet tail?

Ok I've had plenty of hamsters (and a few Guinea Pigs) die from wet tail so I know the symptoms well and here's a list of what happens: Refuses to eat Barely drinks Lofts about don't move around much Seems constipated (can't go to the bathroom but tries) Wetness on and around the tail and sometimes lower back I've never been able to get this in time for mine but if you think it's wet tail go to the pet shop (if they have it where you are) and get DriTail but if you have the money you really should take it to an exotic pet vet if it's wet tail because I've heard DriTail don't work well but I've never tried it so I don't know it might.

Can hermit krabs live in colore d sand?

Yes Hermit Crabs can live in colored sand, some people have them live in pink sand like I did:)
It is 100 percent safe to let your Hermit Crab live in colored sand:)

No, they should not live in the colored sand purchased in pet stores. That colored sand, usually 'Calci-sand'

isn't true sand but calcium carbonate and prolonged exposure to it by humans or pets is unhealthy. When

wet it can harden and trap the hermit crab beneath the surface which will kill the crab. The ideal substrate for pet hermit crabs is a mixture of shredded coconut husk such as Eco Earth and clean "play sand" which can be found in some hardware stores and is used in children's sand boxes. The mixture should be dampened to "sand castle consistency", so that when you grab a handful of it, it holds it's shape but is not so wet that it is "drippy". Hermit crabs need to be able to tunnel in their substrate for protection from the elements (too hot, too cold, too dry) or to molt and they may remain in their tunnels for days or weeks at a time.
