How do you connect the HDMI digital cable to the surround sound?
If your receiver has an HDMI input, use that. If it doesn't, then you will have to use analog or digital audio connectors to plug it in.
Can digital audio output connect to digital optical audio input?
A coaxial digital output (usually an RCA jack) can connect to a digital optical input using a coaxial to optical digital converter. This is a small box that goes in between the two products.
What is the largest flat screen TV to fit an openiong of 42x30?
A 46 inch television with a very small bezel can fit into this space using a wall mount. There will not be enough height in this space for the included table stand.
A warning, the TV will get very HOT. Place a small cooling fan at the inside back of the box, blowing cool air onto the back of the flatscreen. This fan could run 24 hours a day. Heat kills electronics.
Will increasing the cable size improve the performance quality of home theater speakers?
Probably not. There are several factors that can affect the performance of speakers including the signal itself, the amplifier, the cables and the room in which the speakers are used.
There is a school of thought that says certain types of cable can have a noticeable effect on the sound quality even though test equipment monitoring the same tests is unable to record a difference. These people may be right or may not but for this answer we will ignore the un-measurable subtleties of types of cable.
In a typical home set up, speaker cables are likely to be under 10 feet long. The resistance of the cable will be up to around 0.5 ohms if the cable is a thin figure of eight style. A typical speaker is around 8 ohms so the cable resistance is just 1/16th of the total resistance. Increasing the size of the cable, even so that it has no effective resistance will affect the total resistance by only 6%. Resistance is important because it affects the amount of power being delivered to the speakers. Using thin cable will demand that the volume of the amplifier is adjusted upwards by up to 6%.
Speaker resistance isn't quite as simple as a fixed resistance. Typically, the resistance is far lower at low frequencies than high frequencies. An 8 ohm speaker may actually be as low as 3 ohms at 100 hertz (low frequency rumble). Because the cable resistance is more significant compared to the speaker resistance at these low frequencies, it is possible that there will be some small losses of low frequency. The two ways to overcome it are to increase the wire diameter or turn up the low frequency equalization just a touch.
As a sensible guide, try to use at least 0.5mm or 20AWG cable for a 10 foot run. The total resistance will be in the region of 0.2 ohms and make sure the cable is clean and firmly attached to the terminals.
Be aware that moving the speakers even a small distance in the room can have more effect on the sound than the cable. Speakers close to a corner of a room, for example, will increase their low frequency output significantly (by a factor or 2 or more in some cases). Moving a speaker closer to soft, absorbent furniture can reduce the high frequency output by 50% or more. While cables are important, speaker position can play a far bigger role in the final quality.
How do you Connect your DVD Player to a sanyo projector pro x?
That will depend upon the model of Sanyo and the model of DVD player you have. The best possible solution for most is to use component video cables. You will want to run the audio cables to a home receiver of some sort, since the projector has very poor speakers.
How do you know if you have a short in your Panasonic Theater system?
A short (where one wire touches another) in a speaker cable may cause the speaker to simply not work, but usually causes the Panasonic system to shut down. A short inside the Panasonic system is unlikely, unless something was dropped into the cooling vents. If it is still working, but one speaker is not, it could be a break in the cable or a blown speaker.
Where do you plug a rca phono into a 40 inch Samsung D5000 tv?
If you want an audio output from the TV to connect to a home theater receiver or other amplifier, you will have to use the optical digital audio output or Audio Return Channel through the HDMI connectors. Those are the only outputs on this TV.
Samsung produce a wide range of models. Other than saying that all connectors are in the same general area behind a television, it is impossible to offer a definitive answer.
There are some things you might try before you remove the television from a wall mount:
Look up the manual that came with the television or find it online..
The input connector will be yellow, normally with a white and red next to it. If you can see the color of the connector, plug in the video (yellow) and audio (red and white) cables and try it.
If you can't see even the color of the connectors, try using a phone's camera. Either use the screen as a live viewfinder or reach behind the television and take pictures until you can work out where the cables go. Take a final picture to confirm that you got the right connectors in the right holes.
Regions are global areas defined by the BluRay consortium. In order the allow the introduction of movies in different countries on different dates, most Bluray movies have a region code embedded in them. Bluray players will only play movies authored for the region in which they are sold. There are movies on the market, however, that are region-free, and can be played on any Bluray player anywhere in the world.
1:st of all, find an amp that includes iPod compatibility. Like the Pioneer VSX 2016AV amplifier. 2:ondly, if your stereo DOES NOT have iPod compability you can use any amplifiers input together with a cord connected to the headphones output. In ANY CASE I cannot answer if the signal is digitally transferrred, probably it is in the Pioneer-solution I mentioned above. There might be a cable connector with digital (via light) that will fit your iPod. (That should answer the question part 'digital components'). ---
How good is the Epic sound 600?

Which 3D TV gives better image quality -- LG or Samsung?
This is an argument that continues to battle on and on. Basically, Samsung is active shutter technology and each eye receives a 1080p image at a time. Depending upon the size of the TV and the airline (and even the seating class), you may be able to take it aboard as carryon if it will fit in the overhead compartment or under your seat. If it is bigger than that, you should contact your airline about trasporting it with checked luggage. You should make sure it is in the original shipping container, as this is the best way to transport it. Most airlines will charge an additional fee for transporting items like this in addition to your regular luggage.
DVI is a digital video interface used for computer displays. It is an alternative to VGA which is an anlog interface.
DVI is also compatible with HDMI interfaces with one or two limitaitons. DVI does not carry audio so a separate audio lead will be needed. Also. HDMI supports a content protection system called HDCP. Therefore, HDCP protected signals on an HDMI output, as may be found on Bluray discs among others, may well not operate with a DVI input.

sound is created by sound waves due to friction. soundwaves are just waves until an eardrun , etc receives it. sound is also created by air particles. so if there was no air then no sound
Picture seems to be to big for screeen on rca 61 inch big screen how do i fix it?
Hi,
Check on your remote for a button labeled, `aspect'. That's the button that changes the aspect ratio of a picture and you could have it set too large. Then again, you may also have another button that magnifies a picture, like `zoom`, which will give you the same effect.
If it doesn't work with the TV remote, you also need to check you cable remote as well as satellite remote for the `zoom` function. Either could be improperly set.
Hope this helps,
Cubby

If you try the tips Cubby gave you and it still doesn't work, you might want to call the manufacturer for help. If they can't help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue they may refer you to a tv repair shop. I have an issue with my big screen tv (I'm posting on here). If I can't get any answers I can use to fix it myself, because I definitely believe in DIY, then I'll just find a few local repair shops for some estimates.
Good luck and I hope this helps you out too.
When do you need a capacitor for your sound system?
The simplest test to do is turn on your system at night, and if your headlights dim with every beat, (given a fully functioning electrical system) you may need a capacitor. Check with a local electronics expert for some advice. Also, capacitors give your amp the power it needs when it really needs, instead of putting heavy work on your cars electrical system.
