This three wheeler can do about 68 to 70 mph under best conditions.

Use a 15-40 W engine oil that is JASO MA or MA2 approved, or equally any SF or SG graded oil that is of similar thickness. For a very worn engine you can use a 40 W single grade oil of the afrementioed specifications.

3.3 ounces of 80 weight or similar gear oil.

There are several electrical items that can fail due to heat when they start to go bad.

A knowledgeable person will need to check it while its broken.

First, make sure the piston is in top dead center position on the compression stroke. There are two inspection holes to the left of the motor that you should remove. Through the bigger hole you can turn the crank and through the smaller hole you can see the outside of the stator with two marks, T and F. Crank the engine until the T mark is on the line. You can easily adjst the valves with a wrench when the engine is in this position and when it is cold. You will need a feeler gauge. The gap should be .004 for the intake valve and .005 for the exhaust valve. You slide the feeler gauge between the rocker arm and valve. There should be some resistance when you do this but not much.

First make sure it is neutral. Then push in the red button on the left side of the handle bars with the R on it. Apply the brake and shift down.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FIVE BOLTS ON THE REDUCTION GEAR COVER AND REMOVE THE GEARS AND WATCH OUT FOR THE SHIM WASHER AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE ROOM TO REMOVE THE STARTER. INSTALL IN REVERSE ORDER.

Front center of machine 4 inches up from model sticker on front left frame tube! A small crosmember between tube frames has a number stamped on top of crossmember! Look thru lower hole in front plastic between headlights! It's just below screen in front of radiator! If hard to read place a piece of white paper between radiator and crossmember reflection helps figure out what numbers are! Should be 17 didgets

The Honda Rincon uses engine oil as transmission fluid so when you change your engine oil or check your engine oil level you are also changing or checking the transmission fluid at the same time.

You can use it in cooler weather but SAE 10W-40 is the preferred weight.

On all Honda motorcycles, the data plate is on the neck tube of the front forks assy.

My ATV has it facing the front of the bike. If you don't have the data plate, you have to talk to a Honda guru.

Mabye if you cleaned the fan out it might start to work again or the wires aren't connected.

Usually, the 10th digit is the year code.

after unscrewing the black plastic nut at the end of the cable attaching to the carb it will slide out. If yours is stuck the oring or tubular piece inside is gummed up. Sometimes carb spray will help this release it so it will come out.

1990 to 2000 will fit any Trx300

Remove the seat, Look at the bolt holding the gas tank there under the seat.
