Can you take hydrocodone-homatropine syrmor with synthroid?
I have been prescribed and have taken hydrocodone-homatropine syrmor with synthroid. My Dr. prescribed this for me when I had bronchitis and he was fully aware that I take synthroid. I have had no problems at all from taking it. In fact, it is the only thing that worked to stop my night time coughing fits and allowed me to get the rest I needed.
How long does it take to kick a vicodin habit of one year?
7-10 days after you get over the withdrawls its easy sailing
Can you take Vicodin and work out?
Vicodin is known to cause seizures, drowsiness, and nausea. Cardio workout must not be performed under any kind of pain medicine especially narcotic. Heavy weights should also be avoided for it can cause muscle seizures under vicodin. My friend was a vicodin addict and he has lost conciseness during heavy weight lifting. After the incident he stopped taking vicodin.

If i Took 5 mg hydrocodone how long before its out of your system?
48 to 72 hours. Probably less if it only 5mg. And if you are worried about a drug test, you shouldn't. Unless it is for probation. If it is for work you are fine. They onlytest for 5 different substances and hydrocodone is not one of them. For future references check www.erowid.com it should have everything you need to know.
How do you do a Cold water hydrocodone extraction?
Ask a junkie. They usually hang out on street corners.
If you are allegic to Vicodin can you have a reaction to Lortab?
Yes you will have the same allergic reaction. "Lortab" is a brand name for Hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is the active ingrediant in Vicodin, lortab, lorcet, and all the other name brands for the medication.. You are most likely allergic to hydrocodone if you are having and allergic reaction to vicodin. Unless you have never takin Tylenol before. If so, then it may be the acetaminophen you are allergic to. Hope this helps. I am in pharmacy school and work as a pharmacy tech. So this question comes up often in the pharmacy. BE CAREFUL opiate allergies can have very severe reactions.
both detectable for 1-3 days
It would be better to quit under medical supervision, perhaps with replacement support for a short time. Cold turkey can be rough.
It may be months before you feel completely normal. There is a syndrome known as Post Acute Withdrawal that you will need to address.
I would also suggest some visits to Narcotics Anonymous or a similar group. It's much easier to quit and recover with support from folks who have been there. I know.

Is a white oblong pill with g254 acetaminophen a generic brand of Tylenol?
I have been looking for the answer as to what is g254. I can not be certain, but I was told by one of our regular customers at our store that it is Darvon, or atleast a generic form of Darvon. He says that he has taken them himself.
It is perfectly safe to take Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors with hydrocodone. They do not interact or effect one another. SSRI's only affect the serotonin levels in your brain, hydrocodone blocks nerve receptors, which helps with pain. So any SSRI anti-depressant is safe to take with hydrocodone.
Edit: I wouldn't say it is perfectly safe. Serotonin Syndrome can happen and isn't something you just brush off
Hydrocodone is in a class of medications that are usually called Opiates. Opiates are medications that are related chemically to morphine. Other meds in this class include heroin, codeine, and oxycodone. Opiates have a number of pharmacologic effects, including relieving pain and decreasing the cough reflex. They also can be "sedating", that is, they can cause a decreased level of alertness. Technically opiates are a different class of medication than "sedatives" (which are usually termed the "sedative-hypnotic" class). Common members of the sedative-hypnotic class of medications include ethanol, barbiturates, and Valium (diazepam).
You had an allergic reaction to percocet What are the chances of you also being allergic to vicodin?
Very high. Both products contain acetaminophen, which is a rare allergy, but possible. Vicodin contains hydrocodone and percocet contains Oxycodone -- two different yet very similar compounds. Unless you are tested and the test shows otherwise, you are wise to assume if you're allergic to one, you are likely to be to the other.
Can a drug test for Parole distinguish between Hydrocodone and Oxycodone?
I wouldn't worry so much as to whether or not the test can distinguish the two. Rather, I would concern myself with the fact that drug use may be considered a violation of parole and that I better have medical documentation for anything that may show up on the test. Just to add to what was said and to give you a answer since the answer given above was really not a answer but advise. To answer your question, Normally the test is a broad analisys of drugs. They will normally test for Opiates in general and then if you have a positive reading for Opiates in general they will go back and conduct a specialized test to see what type of Opiate it is. So yes they can determine exactly what type of Opiate you took. Hydro or Oxy or any other and they can also determine the amount that you took. But the first test is normally just a broad screen for Opiates in general.
What strengths do vicodin come in?

What is the difference between Hydrocodone and Oxycontin?
Oxycontin is a Chronic Pain medication, the timed release version of Oxycodone, which is a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Opiate). Others that are Schedule II are Morphine, Demerol, Methadone, Dilaudid, etc. Oxycodone is the generic name OxyContin is the brand name for that drug. Oxycodone is sold under various generic and combination brand names - for example, Oxycodone/apap is the same as Percocet.
Because of its time release component and effectiveness of at least 12 hours (the reality is closer to 8-10 for opiate tolerant patients, only 7 for me when I used to take it years ago) it is normally prescribed as a chronic pain medication.
Schedule II narcotics cannot have refills; the prescription cannot be called in by anyone; each prescription refill can only be obtained by getting a new prescription from your doctor each time. This is the biggest difference between Schedule II and Schedule III drugs.
Hydrocodone is a Schedule III controlled substance, and is usually sold under the brand name Vicodin. Schedule III drugs can be refilled a limited number of times, and it can be called in to a pharmacy. The opiate and effectiveness is much lower than it is with Schedule II drugs. Schedule II drugs are either prescribed for short term severe pain, or for people like me who have chronic severe pain lasting years, they are prescribed in quantity and on a regular basis. Vicodin and other S-III drugs are what's known as Acute Pain drugs, pain that is expected to go away after an injury or operation heals, or pain that isn't bad enough to require a Schedule II drug.
Oxycontin is oxycodone in a controlled release formulation, the same narcotic analgesic that is in Percocet and Percodan. Hydrocodone is a different, slightly less potent narcotic analgesic. Hydrocodone is the narcotic that is used in commonly prescribed products like Vicodin, Lorcet, and Lortab.
Primary differences:
Oxycontin: Hydrocodone:
Long acting (12 hours) Short acting (3 to 4 hours)
Uses oxycodone alone Usually prescribed as
Vicodin, Lortab or Lorcet (hydrocodone
plus acetaminophen)
More potent Less potent
No dose limit Dose limit on acetaminophen (Tylenol)
Will hydrocodone show up on opiate test?
Yes. It is a synthetic opiate that will show up on drug tests. If there is a medical reason for you taking this drug, if you can bring in a doctors note saying so or have other medical personnel to back this up you will be ok, if not and you are using it illegally, you will not pass the test most likely.
What are the laws about refilling hydrocodone early?
Laws regarding refilling hydrocodone prescriptions vary by state but generally adhere to federal regulations under the Controlled Substances Act. Hydrocodone is classified as a Schedule II controlled substance, meaning refills are not permitted; patients must obtain a new prescription from their healthcare provider for every fill. Additionally, many states impose limits on early refills, requiring a valid reason and sometimes documentation from the prescribing physician. Patients should consult their state laws and communicate with their healthcare provider and pharmacist for specific guidance.
Yes they can. If they are pink, have a fancy v on one side and 3600, it's a loratab 10
