What is the value of a Hammond organ model What is the value of a Hammond organ model T582C?
I've research the value of a Hammond T582c and found the average cost to be around $125.00 to $250.00. I purchase an excellent T582c for $200.00 USD just to experiment with the improvements that Carsten Meyers suggest in his website keyboard parteners. de, I have spoken with MITA organ tech members and surf the internet for months just to say if your looking at a Hammond T582c and want an inexpensive way to obtain the B3 sound the T582c is the way to go. Good luck and have fun with your organ:)
What year is a Fender guitar with serial number 12051806?
According to Fender, there are no historic serial numbers longer than 6 digits, so this is most likely a modern one: the "12" prefix denotes the guitar was produced in 2012. If a "US" precededes the serial stamp, that also indicates the guitar was made in the US this year.
What is the most expensive Gibson guitar?
Several companies make very expensive basses. Alembic are one of them. Their basses are highly collectable and quite pricy. http://www.alembic.com/ However, Bass Player magazine had an article about the most expensive bass ever: http://www.bassplayer.com/article/ritter-royal-flora/feb-07/25390 It's the Ritter Royal Flora, priced at about US$100,000. Ritter can be found at: http://www.ritter-basses.com/ritter-basses-history/ritter-basses-history.php?year=2007 The "Flora" model was produced in 2007 and is model 0701.
Would a violin marked liuariun cremonensis anno 1716 be of some value?
These violins are well documented Stradivarius replicas. There are several versions, however a German and French version, which were made in the late 1890's - the late 1920's are the most popular. Even though they are replicas, they are still high quality instruments. The price vale on either version depends on the overall condition, and the quality of sound it produces. I have seen near mint condition ones go for $3,500.00, however I have also seen battered ones go for around $100.00. That's a far cry from the last, Strad, that went at auction for almost $16,000,000.00. A real Stradivarius violin would be around 300 years old, however many blind studies have shown no sound difference between authentic Stradivariuses and copies (crazy huh). The maker of your violin is telling you flat out, it's a replica of a particular Stradivarius originally crafted by Antonius Stradivarius in the year 1728.

What is the best guitar for a beginner?
seagull, they are cheap but have a very good sound
Yamaha, they're the best but it can be slightly costly. Just think of it as not having to spend much on guitar strings. It's an investment! Buy the very best that you can afford. Go to a store with a large range of guitars and find all that are in your price range. If you can play a little, play and see how each feels and sounds. If you can't play yet, get someone to go with you who can or find a salesperson who can play and see which sounds best to your own ear. Most important is how it feels, though (strings close to fingerboard; neck not too wide). We would have a lot more new guitar players joining our dwindling ranks if new students did NOT try to learn in the beginning on acoustic guitars. They are too hard to fret and too hard on the fingers unless set up like a $5000 guitar. Get a medium to cheap electric with 9---42 strings and you will see what I mean !!!! I just bought a new acoustic myself, with wonderful action, and it hurts MY fingers, and I have been playing 43 years !!!! I have big, tough hands. I can just imagine a 12 year old. Ouch. ================== Ovation Celebrities are pretty good first guitars for the price, I got mine for less than $300 and it plays pretty well. I want a better guitar now that I've learned how to play though. ================ At the lowest end of the price spectrum (under $300), I believe Yamahas and Epiphones give the best value. With Epiphone, try to find its Hummingbird and Dove models. Sound and price are only two factors. The most important aspect of a starter guitar is playability. If your hands feel comfortable playing a guitar, you will play more -- and you will feel better and play better. Yamahas are popular, but I've always found them not very friendly to the hands because of the narrow string spacing and often high action. I also own a low-priced Alvarez which plays quite well and, with its shallow body, is comfortable to wear. In the mid-range, from $400 to $900, I swear by Takamines, which often sound and feel better than guitars costing more. Taylors tend to go for at least $700, but its Baby Taylor (around $300) and Big Baby (around $450) are absolute winners that even players used to more expensive instruments sing their praises. And if you can afford a Taylor, such as a 210 or 310, you won't be able to fault its playing comfort, even though Taylors' treble, sparkly sound is not for all tastes. Ibanez makes good instruments in this range, with especially attractive visual touches. Though Martin is the #1 acoustic brand, low-to-mid-range Martins tend to be iffy -- its 000CXE and DCXE guitars, for example, are literally the worst-sounding live guitars I've ever heard. However, the $700 DCX1E is superb, with fabulous feel and good sound, as is the OMCX1KE.
What is the value of a Henri Herz piano?
It all depends on the builder and what shape its in.
The average single manual price is $7,000-$16,000
The average double manual price usually doubles the price of a single manual.
String instruments have been being used for YEARS. Honestly, I think it's impossible to tell where, because no-one can be sure how long ago they were being used (whether the 6 strings like we see today, or older forms.
As for why? Well, why are any instruments made? To make music. =]

Value of a Copy of Antonius Stradivarius made in Czechoslovakia?
I have a Copy of Antonius Stradivarius made in Czecho Slovakia around 1890ish. I got mine from my dad for my sweet 16. He bought it from a very old gentleman that had inherited it to the best of my knowledge. I have seen some listed on e-bay that look to be in good shape. They just need minor things such as bridge, strings, bow repairs, etc. Nothing you can't do yourself. As for how much they cost, I think my dad payed around 300 bucks 15 yrs ago. Happy Hunting!
I am not sure of the date of my copy I bought at an antique store in the south about 10 years ago, but I paid $100.
Czechoslovakia wasn't formed into a state until 1918. Your violin was made after then. If it says "copy of" it was made after 1957 when it was required to say "copy of" to avoid confusion. There are so many they are practically worthless.

What is the age of a Baldwin baby grand serial number 18987?
In dating a Baldwin by serial number, knowing whether it is an upright or grand piano is important, as each of these was serialized separately. In this case, a baby grand with serial 18987 would have been built in 1912.

What year is slashes Les Paul?
Slash's Les Pauls from the Appetite for Destruction days were actually copies one was a 59 Les Paul copy and the other I don't know but it was a les paul copy that was made by a guy named Derrig and was extremely good, sadly Derrig is no longer in the business as far as I've heard. Here's the story-
Derrig had built the guitar already when the AFD sessions started. It was in the display window of Music-Works. Alan Niven came in and said that Slash was using a BC Rich guitar for the AFD sessions that wasn't cutting it for the tone, etc.
Alan asked the owner if he had anything he could try. The owner said he didn't have much, but there was a Les Paul in the window that was built by Derrig. Alan asked to check it out. Jim put Alnico II SD pickups in it, & sent it off with Alan for Slash to try. The guitar never came back, but Alan came back and wrote them a check for it AFTER the AFD sessions were over. He said Slash loved it, it was perfect for the AFD sessions. End of story, except he eventually got a 2nd Derrig from another source, I don't know who.

What is the value of a gemeinhardt flute serial number m2cs 450948?
Being that the age of this flute is over 50 years, it has probably reached its lifetime. The M2 flutes are a student model as well, also taking a chunk out of its value. Depending on the metals with which it was made, either silver or nickel plated, the value may vary quite a bit. The nickel plated M2's are not as resonant and tend to play fuzzier than the silver variety. However, old flutes do tend to fall into desrepair more often and may be very expensive to bring back to playability. If you are considering purchasing an old M2, I would advise against it. If you are considering upgrading to a newer flute and/or selling your Gemeinhardt, I highly recommend a Yamaha flute. They have a variety of models and a price range for everyone. Your M2 might sell for 100-180 on eBay, again depending on its condition and metals. For more information about the general value of this instrument, try going to eBay or an online dealer of used instruments and check out the going rate for your 1960 instrument. I hope I helped!
