Why is your ipod nano sixth gen backlight randomly not working?
The backlight on the 6th gen iPod nano is known to be moisture sensitive. Rain, or even sweat, may enter the body of the iPod and corrode the contacts that connect the display assembly to the main board.
Replacement of the screen may work although in most cases this is due to the connectors being scraped clean of corrosion. Same effect might be had by just reseating the original display assembly.
To get rid of moisture put the iPod in a sealed container with a couple of packets of Silicagel (or dry kitty-litter). Or put it in a warm (not hot) dry place for a couple of days.
Does ipod nano 6g support lyrics?

Apple's Hi-Fi if you are just looking for boom box sound quality (if u can find one I think apple stopped producing them). For portability, battery utility, compact design I like logitech mm50; built in lithium batteries automatically recharge when plugged in, nice feature, unplug music from AC power yet music continues. Includes a nice carrying case. Newer models are available and in my opinion are not as aesthetic, but logitech rates high in portability. Now for what is available and is the current king, Zeppelin. Without a doubt if you want the best overall audio, the clarity of the midrange is awesome makes you want to listen to all your favorite vocalist all over again to hear what you have been missing. The company B&W is legendary when it comes to making speakers. My plasma installer drooled over my B&W center channel speaker even though it is 10 years old. These people make quality products that if taken care of will last. Finally the item is sleek and modern, but not very portable.
P.S. I bought a digital to audio cable that connects my HDTV digital line out in my bedroom to the Zep's aux input, works great. (TOSLINK TO MINIPLUG)
