It usually means there is a corrupted file. When you try syncing again, pay attention and see if it keeps stopping on the same song. If so, go in and delete the song from your iTunes/computer. It could also be a corrupted photo cache, so you can try deleting that too. Be sure you have all the latest software updates and that there is nothing else plugged in to your comp via USB or Firewire when you are trying to sync.
