Mine did the same thing. I asked a Radio Shack guy, and he said one of the wires and bad, or the speaker just broke. You'll have to buy new ones. (tip: Radio Shack, where I get all my headphones, gives out a warranty for a buck or so more. Take my advice,... Get it. ;) )

There isn't such thing as an iPod touch 5th gen. But there is but what I mean is when people say 'I have an iPod touch 5g' what they mean is they have a white iPod and white iPods re shipped with iOS 5 and that is why they call it an iPod touch. But really it is just a white iPod touch 5g.

Apple added the "I" to the Imac to stress the computers ease and capabilities when working with the internet. Like kleenex, the name just really caught on so now they put the I on non-computer products as well

"I" in ipod actually means interim". Remember that around 1985, Steve Jobs got fired as CEO of Apple. Thinking how can you get fired from a company you started, Steve Jobs decided to work on his career on a different company. (He was with NEXT and PIXAR). After more than 10 years he decided to go back to Apple as CEO but Apple had him as interim CEO. iCEO for short. Thinking that this is an insult to him, being an iCEO to a company he founded, he ordered to put the letter "i' on every product, OS, hardware, computer etc that Apple releases. That explains the names of imac, ipad, itunes,iOS etc .

It means you have to plug your USB port into the computer that is also plugged into your ipod. The USB port should go away after this and you can work you ipod.

surprisingly, yes! but its kinda complicated. first, you get a mic off amazon, then you install whistle phone off the appstore, then dial a number and talk. you can also txt on ipod touch. just search textfree on appstore.

you go to the file with your IPod name and if you scroll down it will have some choices you want your IPod to do under 'Backup' and you can click 'Back up this computer' off by clicking the circle with the dot in the middle and it won't do it anymore.

it is different on all computers but there is a button on the bottom right hand corner (all computers) that when you put your mouse over it. It says safely remove hard ware or something like that and you click on that choose to dissconnet Apple ipod :)

It's a little tricky. If you use Veoh or Realplayer, you should be able to download supported content and burn it to a disk. Then, if you rip it to windows media center, it should be in your computer files. If you really wanna go the extra mile, you can place it in wmm and create a shortcut to the video. I use the profile ob1benji1 on youtube, and from what I can tell with making videos, it depends alot on if the person who made the video sets it up so that others can use their content.

For any ipod if you connect it to the computer it and click on it's information( click your device's name from the left hand side) You can click the restore button it the device page. This will completely reset your device and delete everything on it. You can readd everything afterwards, don't worry it backs up your device's profile.

If you have an ipod touch/and iphone you can also do this on your device by going settings ( on the main home screen) then tapping general, then tap rest and then you can choose what you want to reset.
