In this atmosphere and environment came Guru Nanak who from the beginning had interest in religion and was looking things in depth.At age 30, as per Sikh tradition, he disappeared from the stream where he used to go to bath every morning and appeared back after three days. When the local people posed him question, he answered the same to every question:'There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim. So whose path shall I follow, I shall follow God's path" and thus Sikhism was founded.
