In Islam we know that God does not have a son. He does not make people who are 'holy'. He does not give power to anyone else. So you can not be better than anyone else simply by believing in Jesus, or being from the 'chosen people'. It is Only God who is special, so it is Only God we worship. It is Only God we pray to. It is Only God we obey. There is nothing and no one we will obey if they go against what God has commanded.
Those who obey their rabbis, priests, ministers or imams when they tell them to go against what God says, are not monotheists. They are actually polytheists (in a certain sense) because they are obeying someone other than God.
