The origin of macaroni is not completely certain. There are cases of it originating from China, the Etruscans, Greece, Rome, and the Arabs.
Macaroni pasta is typical in many westernized-Chinese cuisines and in Americana cuisine (namely "macaroni and cheese"). It is also sometimes used in Italian cuisine.
Yes, Italians eat pita bread. They have access to the flat-breaded traditions of eastern and southern Mediterranean cultures through their experiences with Arabic- and Greek-speaking immigrants and Trojan refugees. But they also make such pita bread equivalents as focaccia, pane caserau, piadina, and schiacciata.
A well renowned dictionary traces the etymology of tortellini to the diminutive form of tortello, itself a diminutive of torta ("cake" or "pie" in Italian). The recipe for a dish called "torteletti" appears in 1570 from Bartolomeo Scappi.
Evidently the literal translation into English would be little cake/pie or mini cake/pie.
Bake: Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut slit in center of film on tray. Place frozen tray on baking sheet in center of oven. Bake for about 55-60 minutes. Carefully remove film and serve. Microwave: cut small slit in center of film. Place frozen tray in microwave; cook on medium high for 9-10 minutes. Remove from microwave with oven mitts and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove film, slice and serve.
Pre-meal and first-course servings are what is enjoyed before the main course in an Italian meal.
Specifically, the antipasto("before the meal") consists of small edibles to stimulate the appetite. The primo piatto ("first plate") focuses upon pasta, polenta, rice or soup. The secondo piatto ("second course") is the main meal of chicken, fish or meat. The contorno ("outline, profile" is the side dish of vegetables. The dolce ("sweet") will be the equivalent of dessert.

ok hi
Lasagna can range from any size.
It depends on amount of servings in the whole lasagna. You should always look on the sides of boxes to see the serving sizes which will show you how much is recommended for you to eat, and how many calories and etc. is in that serving. Also see how many servings are per container.

Like almost every other food, salami is fine in moderation. As long as you do not over due it with the salami, you will be fine. Remember, salami is made from pork and different parts that come from pork. It tastes delicious but can be quite fattening. Therefore, I recommend that you eat it with some veggies on the side (perhaps in a sandwich) to kind of balance out the "good and the bad food."

okay. first of all it is spelled lasgna and it looks like a big noodle with meat and sauce and cheese on it Mmm
Antipasto in English means 'before pasta' or 'before your main dish' and is commonly known as starters, something to clear the palate and get the appetite going. Antipasto is an appetizer usually consisting of an assortment of smoked meats, cheeses, fish and raw vegetables.
Well, ethically speaking, Goji berries are made from dried and diced wold paws, so they ought to be forbidden. Likewise Sushi Rice, when allowed to mature, has shown to be roughly as intellegent as a five year old child. The modern practice of boiling it alive in its infancy is barbaric, but , like the Goji berries, not forbidden.
The type of pasta in spaghetti is usually plain spaghetti, but angel hair pasta can be used instead.
In a formal Italian dinner, the dolce, or dessert, follows fruit and comes before coffee and the digestivo.
In the North there are mountains which make it hard to grow veggys so they use more meats and in Central they have good soil so they use more veggys and cheeze and in the South they have more countries around so their cooking style varies
Zuppa is an Italian equivalent of the English word "soup".
Specifically, the word is a feminine noun in its singular form. It may be preceded by the feminine singular definite article la ("the") or the feminine singular partitive della("some"). The pronunciation will be "TSOOP-pah" in Italian.
"Soup" in English is minestra or zuppa in Italian.
Lasagna, is from Italy.
In Spanish it is: lasaña, pronounced as in Italian.
I cooked it for 3 hours in a 3liter oven pot at 130 degrees Celsius and the last 45 mins at 150.
This completely depends on whether it's frozen, just made, cooked, uncooked, ingredients, etc. Your question isn't specific enough to answer properly. HOWEVER, let's assume its' a cooked meat lasagna and you had it for dinner but you forgot to refrigerate it before going to bed. If you live in a cold climate and the house is chilly all night, you'll probably be okay if you put it into a fridge immediately when you wake up. If you live in Arizona or Guam, you've just lost your lasagna. The meat and the pasta will start to grow things you can't see within a couple of hours of sitting out of the fridge. Personally, I wouldn't chance eating a lasagna that sat out all night unless I was absolutely broke and cramming for a test or so hungover that I couldn't get to the store. Then, it usually doesn't matter as long as it fills the void until something better comes along.
This food will keep for about 5 days in the refrigerator. Place the food in an air tight container for best results. It can later be transferred to the freezer for longer storage.
Italians will eat pasta mostly as a side dish with every meal, depending on what region in Italy they are from
A nice, dry Italian red.
Lasagna is a rich, full flavored dish. Anything less than full bodied will be lost. While many people recommend matching the white cheese with a white wine it seems to me that a red will stand up better to this complex mixture of spices, beef and red tomato sauce.
My feelings lead me to a Chianti, a less expensive Italian table wine, a Cabernet Sauvinon, a bit more complex or a rich Bordeaux. Try to stay with the less sweet variants in each wine as they will be more prone to lead to hangover as well as bloating and gastric discomfort.
It's a tradition in some families and cultures. However, eating Christmas cake is NOT a tradition in ALL families or in ALL cultures. To assume so would be an error. Some families have very few traditions.
Its discontinued. They sent me recipe in the mail before computer
A not-very-well-defined term.
It usually refers to a thick crust (and often square or rectangular) pizza cooked in a pan.
Lasagne was known to the Ancient Romans and the Greeks, in a slightly different form. I was eaten in England in the 14th Century and found described in a cook book at the time of Richard ll
