How can i manually install itunes 8 with out using the installer?
I don't know the full answer; but first you'll need to extract the .exe, go to portableapps.com and download the suite, then download "7-zip" (a program) and use it to extract the .exe installer into a folder; at that point you're actually faced with .msi files, and you'll have to extract those using the same program.
At that point I don't know how to continue.

The iPod touch doesn't have cellular network access so you can't "unlock" it in that sense. There is a bar which comes up on the bottom when you have "locked" the touchscreen controls which you slide to unlock.

LIMEWIRE!!!!!!!!
Limewire is great and all, if you want a lot of viruses. There is a site called Aimini.net, and it has to be ".net", and all you have to do is give them ur email and a password for their site, and you're good. They don't send you spam and and whatnot, and it is compatible with itunes, .wma files, quicktime, etc....most are itunes though.
Why won't iTunes read a music disk?
If the disc mounts it should be accessible to iTunes providing the music on the disc is in a format recognisable by iTunes. If the disc mounts but is not recognised you can double click the disc's icon and drag the music tracks from the disc directly into iTunes.
Yes, you have to pay for songs on itunes to put them on your ipod. But, if you scroll to the bottom of the itunes homepage, there will be a section titled something like "free on itunes" and you can click on that to see what they have for free. There is another way to put songs on your ipod, it's called Limewire, and I'm pretty sure that it's illegal. I'd just stick to itunes.
i have checked the website (limewire.com) and it says it's completely legal. frostwire.com is another option although i have not checked it yet.

What is iTunes error code -69?
According to the iTunes website....
iTunes displays a -69 error when syncing iPod
Last Modified: March 19, 2008
Article: HT1210
Old Article: 302684
Summary
When you try to sync files to any iPod in iTunes on a Mac or Windows computer, you might see the following -69 error message:
"Attempting to copy to the disk failed. An unknown error occurred (-69)"
Products Affected
iPod, iTunes
This error occurs when iTunes tries to send files to your iPod, but a file (or files) is unusable (something is wrong with it).
To figure out which file (or files) is causing the error, update to the latest version of iTunes and then do this:
Control-click (Mac) or right-click (Windows) on your iPod icon in the iTunes Source pane, then choose Sync Songs from the shortcut menu.
Watch the display at the top of the iTunes window while your iPod is being updated. The name of the problematic file should appear in the display right before the error appears. Then remove the bad file from the list of songs to be synced to your iPod.
Select the iPod in the iTunes Source pane.
Click the Settings tab.
Select the "Only sync checked items" checkbox (please note that this checkbox is only available for an iPod configured to update automatically).
Select the appropriate item under Library in the sidebar and find the bad file in the list. (For example, if the file in question was a song you would select Music in the iTunes Source pane. If it were a video you would select Movies or TV Shows in the sidebar.)
Deselect the checkbox next to the file name.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to update your iPod. If you have multiple problematic files in your iTunes library, you may need to repeat the other steps to remove them too.
To prevent future issues, you should delete the unusable files from your iTunes library, then restore them from a backup or reimport them from a CD.
If you're not able to isolate to any single file or if another iPod works with the same songs, then disconnect any other devices connected to USB or FireWire and try again. If the issue continues, then then try resetting your iPod. If the issue continues, then restore your iPod.
How do you get your iTunes to play 432hz files?
A 432 Hz file cannot be played by iTunes (or anything else). Do you mean KHz? Music for a CD is sampled at 44.1 KHz (over 44,000 Hz) and that sample rate is commonly used for audio files. Are you referring to the bit rate? This is often 128 or 192 kbit/s . Standard MP3 players are only required to play at bit rates up to 320 kbit/s and so a 432 kbit/s would be outside such a range.
@ who ever wrote the above. 432hz can be played by itunes and everything else. The question is referring to the frequency of the note A above middle C not sample rate. Lookup standard tuning for more information regarding the frequency of the actual notes being played. To tune your keyboard or anything else to 432 it requires you drop the frequency by 8Hz. This can be done with a guitar tuner or by ear using a frequency generator. Note: Regular guitar tuners all tune your A above middle C to 440. The Korg GA40 and CA40 allow you to adjust the frequency.
Do you have to use iTunes to transfer songs onto an iPod or can you use another service?
