Where can you buy freshwater jellyfish for a fishtank?

No where readily available unless your Looking to spend a good amount of money on a New Aquarium (which is designed Specifically for them), Specific foods and then the Jelly it's self.
What you are looking for is a Craspedacusta sowerbyi which is a freshwater jellyfish in the phylum Cnidaria. Since it is classified as a hydrozoan, it is one of many jellyfish that are also known as hydromedusae ("medusa" is another word for jellyfish).
The dedication it takes to Keep a Jelly Alive and in good shape is something I suggest for only Pro's as there is more to keeping it alive then dumbing it in a tank and hoping for the best.
But if you do happen to get one I wish you the best. I have always wanted one but I do not have the time to invest but Love reading about anything having to do with Jellies.

How will you distinguish between hydrozoan polyp and scyphozoan polyp?

The difference between most hydrozoans and most scyphozoans is that in hydrozoans, the polyp stage usually predominates, with the medusa small or sometimes absent.

Often, the medusa never breaks away from the parent polyp, and remains in a state of arrested development, although its gametes function. Such a medusa is referred to as a sporosarc.

In scyphozoans, the medusa stage is typically large and free-living, with the polyp stage small.

However, there are exceptions - certain hydrozoans known as the Trachylina never form a polyp stage. Free-living medusoid hydrozoans can be hard to tell from scyphozoans, but hydrozoan medusae generally have a muscular shelf, or velum, projecting inward from the margin of the bell.

This structure is not found in scyphozoans. Hydrozoans also lack cells in the mesoglea, the jelly layer found between the basic cell layers, whereas scyphozoans contain amoeboid cells in the mesoglea.

Another feature that is quite common in Hydrozoa but not typical of Scyphozoa is colonial organization.

What effect would gravity have on jellyfish if it were taken out of water?

Gravity is the same for a jellyfish whether they are in water or out of water. However, that is not to say that taking a jellyfish out of water would have no effect. The difference is that, in water, their neutral buoyancy allows them to float and their relatively weak muscles allow them to move, their tentacles to extend and contract, and their oral arms to bring food near their mouths. When you take a jellyfish out of water, though, their density is so much greater than air that they become a limp noodle, and their weak muscles cannot overcome their crushing weight. Although gravity is certainly a factor, it is constant. The relative buoyancy between the two environments is the real difference between floating like a butterfly in water, or laying on the beach like a formless blob.

Do jellyfish have any muscles in their bodies?

Jellyfish do not have muscles or bones in their uniquely designed bodies.

How do jellyfish move around without skeletons?

Being made mostly of water, and having a neutral buoyancy, primary jellyfish movement is provided simply by drifting with currents and tidal forces.

Short term and/or limited distance movement is additionally accomplished by propulsion. This force is initiated by contracting a ring of muscle cells around the opening of the umbrella shaped bell, causing an explusion of the water contained inside the bell. The springiness of the bell slowly returns it once again to an open shape, even as the jelly is still gliding forward, due to momentum and the streamline shape of the bell in the direction away from the open end. This process can then be repeated to continue forward movement.

A few species of box jellies are such strong swimmers, though, that they are able to overcome planktonic (current and tidal) movement, so that they can direct their travel. Fewer box jellies wash up on the beach than their relatively helpless cousins. Scientists are currently studying whether the species, Chironex fleckeri (marine stinger) actually stalks its prey, since they reportedly can move as fast as a human can walk. This species also has complicated eyes containing a lens, cornea, and retina; it can navigate simple mazes; and it has demonstrated short term memory.
