First - ALL bankruptcy cases are in a Federal court. There are many of these divided into different Districts, generally given the name of the area they are supposed to handle cases in. Nonetheless, changes of venue (that is where the case is heard), can be granted for many reasons - but you should have a reason - one that promotes the cause of justice - and hopefully the other parties don't object....and you can certainly ask. You may need to modify it for your needs...like that you are no longer domiciled in the original area and it is a hardship to present yourself there.
